To go back a little, Aix, who had no idea that he was being pursued, stretched lazily and basked in the morning sun.
“Ah, this feels great.”
He opened the window and the refreshing scent of grass filled the air, making him feel exhilarated. As Aix went downstairs to get a drink from the refrigerator, an excited coachman called out to him.
“Aix-san! This place is like a paradise of the gods, with a shower, ice room, water bottle, and floor heating. It’s definitely better than any festival! Are we not going to stay home all day today?”

Last night, he had let the coachman stay in the ghost house’s guest room, and he was so grateful. But for Aix, it was just an ordinary day.

“There’s a massage chair over there. Please feel free to use it until we leave.”
“A massage chair?”

Luca, in her pajamas, made Aix’s heart skip a beat.
“Good morning, Aix.”
She smiled warmly.
“Hey, partner. It’s great that you brought fresh milk for the tea. I’ll brew it right away, so wait a moment, will you?”
“Thanks, Crazy Bear.”
He hadn’t intended to bring the milk specifically for Luca, but he would take advantage of the kindness anyway.
“But seriously, your magical gadgets keep the water boiling all day, partner. It’s amazing.”
Stirred one spoonful of sugar into the milk tea brewed by Crazy Bear.

Around when the tea was about half gone, Luca asked anxiously with wet lips.
“I’m sorry, Aix. I couldn’t go because I’m bad with crowds, even though I invited you.”
“Don’t worry about it, Luca. It was fun setting up the tent and everything.”
I laughed and denied it.
“But you came all this way. Is there anything you want to do, Aix?”
“Um, in that case, I lost my guild card, so I want to make a replacement certificate. I had trouble renting the tent.”
She blinked her eyes.

“I already quit the guild, and that person seems to have given up and hasn’t come to the inn lately, so it’s okay. I wonder what he’s doing now.”

I fell down feeling the stuffed animal hitting my face. Crazy Bear and I looked at each other.
