Chapter 56. Buying Clothes
“Little Belle, we’ve arrived.” Luna held Elrose’s little hand and stopped in front of a shop.
Elrose turned her head slowly.
It was a clothing store, and judging by the clothes displayed in the window, it seemed to be a women’s clothing store.
“Hm? Luna, weren’t we here for lunch? Why did you bring me to a clothing store?” Elrose said, confused.
“Of course to buy clothes, what else could we do?” Luna glanced at Elrose’s maid outfit and couldn’t help but criticize, “Little Belle, I’m not saying you, but you’ve been at my house for over ten days, and you keep wearing the same two identical maid outfits every day. Aren’t you tired of it?”
“Tired? Why would I be tired of it?”
Elrose looked at her clothes and said, “I think they’re pretty good.”
“But you wear this every day, even when going out, isn’t that inappropriate?”
“Inappropriate?”
“Very inappropriate.” Luna stated firmly, “It makes it seem like my house is a heartless business that doesn’t even give you money to buy clothes.”
“Uh… Is that so?” Hearing Luna say this, Elrose felt that perhaps it was a bit inappropriate; she really should buy a couple of other outfits.
But the problem was, she didn’t have money.
The money Luna had given her had all gone into her stomach.
How could she afford to buy clothes?
Elrose’s expression gradually turned sour.
Damn, what had blinded my eyes?
But Luna seemed to understand Elrose’s expression. She sighed gently, “Oh, don’t worry, you helped me a lot today; I’ll pay for all the clothes.”
“Really?” Elrose felt overjoyed.
“Really.” Luna nodded gently and then pulled Elrose directly into the clothing store.
“Welcome.” The shop matron approached with great respect, saying, “How can I assist you?”
“Please get her a few suitable outfits.” Luna stepped aside slightly, revealing Elrose behind her.
The shop matron’s eyes lit up instantly. With her smooth silver hair, ruby-like eyes, and an ethereal aura, she was incredibly adorable.
“Oh my, what a lovely young lady you are,” the shop matron said with a broad smile. “Little sister, what style of clothes do you want?”
“Um… I’m not really sure.”
Elrose paused. To be honest, she didn’t know much about women’s fashion, and since Luna was paying, she didn’t want to make her spend too much, so she could only helplessly say, “How about just pick something randomly, as long as it’s alright?”
“How can it be random?” the shop matron said. “Clothes are a girl’s soul; a suitable outfit can elevate a woman’s charm to a whole new level.”
“Especially someone like you, with such looks and figure. It’d be a waste not to dress up nicely!”
“Oh my, look at your fair skin and delicate features. Trust me, if you dress nicely and walk down the street, you’ll be the center of attention. Even the most elegant gentlemen will turn to gaze at your unmatched beauty.”
Elrose was left stunned by her words.
Wait, wait a minute.
What kind of nonsense is this? How would I be the center of attention?
I don’t want that; I’m a big guy, being stared at by a bunch of big guys on the street, isn’t that uncomfortable?
I admit I’m quite pretty.
But that beauty is for me to enjoy.
As for others, especially men, let’s leave them out of it.
“Um, really just a regular outfit is fine.” Elrose said softly.
But the shop matron’s words flowed like a torrent, instantly drowning out her voice. Elrose helplessly tugged at Luna, hoping she could help her out of this situation.
However, Luna turned her head slightly and said seriously, “Little Belle, I think the matron is right. People rely on their attire. A pretty girl should wear pretty clothes.”
“Huh?”
“Matron, bring out your most expensive and beautiful clothes,” Luna declared grandly with a wave of her hand.
“Sure thing.”

“Thank you for your visit, and we hope to see you again.”
Accompanied by the shop matron’s farewell, Luna stepped out of the store with two full bags of clothes, turning back with a beaming smile, “Oh, Little Belle, don’t be shy, come out!”
“Don’t pull me, don’t pull me, I’m coming out,” came Elrose’s voice from inside.
Under the midday sun, Elrose stood at the store entrance in a cute violet dress, her delicate face showing a light blush, clearly a little shy.
The milk-white stockings wrapped around Elrose’s slender calves, revealing thighs even whiter than the stockings. She wore a pair of pink shoes, with her hair tied back in two light-colored bows.
Suddenly, a breeze swept through, lifting Elrose’s short skirt, and the pure white panties beneath were almost revealed.
