I’m _172, the one who wrote “My Friends Harem is Obsessed with Me.” I never imagined that name would become my pen name; sweat drop
But now that I keep writing like this, I feel kind of attached.
I don’t know how others see it, but it carries a lot of meaning for me. Thanks to this work, I could keep writing!
The timing for finishing the story seems just right, too.
I was thinking, “Let’s give being an author a try!” around last December.
It’s been exactly one year since I started as an aspiring author. It feels quite nostalgic.
Hmm.
I have to say something about the work, but I actually don’t have much to think about.
If I had known this would happen, I should’ve taken some questions in advance; facepalm
Hmm.
Speaking of the novel, I didn’t plan on continuing the side stories this far.
I intended to serialize just one for each character and wrap it up nicely.
I thought I’d only write around 5 to 10 episodes, but now I see I’ve written 20 episodes.
It’s all because you all enjoyed it!
But, it seems the time has come to send it off.
As I write the last episode, I find myself getting emotionally involved and feeling a bit sad. Because I’m still an inexperienced author, I don’t want to let go of the characters, and I hope the readers keep enjoying them.
Still, I knew that was just greed.
So, it appears this work is coming to a full stop.
Speaking of which, I’ve noticed a lot of comments about Tana lately.
To give you a definite answer, it’s a matter of time.
You see, Daniel was the kind of character who comforted himself while watching the others. Eventually, he’ll end up with Eve thanks to her persuasion.
….It’s funny talking about character self-comfort in an author note, isn’t it?
Like, dun dun dun! A shocking tale! Behind the scenes! The author’s real-life story!
I feel like I should spill some juicy details, but I don’t have any; sigh
If I had to point something out, it’s that I originally wasn’t thinking about a harem ending, but you guys changed it!
Yes, that’s about it.
That doesn’t mean I had a specific heroine in mind, though.
Ah!
The side stories aren’t completely finished either. I can be pretty sticky like that.
When you guys have almost forgotten about me, and I find some time to write about the friends’ harem again.
I might write something about Daniel raising kids or something like that.
At least, I’ll come back within a timeframe where you won’t forget the characters’ names.
Also, I’m already working on the next project.
I once mentioned, “Please look forward to it!” In one of my author notes.
Looking back, I somewhat regret that.
The next project is going to have a completely different vibe; whistle
So if you come expecting the atmosphere of the friends’ harem, you might be disappointed!

I think it’s time to say my goodbyes.
The author’s note shouldn’t be longer than the main story, right?
I might be a lacking author, but I don’t want to say my work was lacking.
Surely, there must be some who found it enjoyable.
I don’t think I have the right to evaluate it.
Even if the grades or results weren’t the best, I always did my best while writing.
This isn’t just flattery or nonsense; I genuinely enjoyed writing every episode.
That’s why I want to write more side stories and also why I don’t want it to end, haha!
