Chapter 234: 233. Get Lost!
“Stop staring at me… I can’t write a single word like this.”
Ning Chu raised her head, glaring at Wen Yang lounging by the desk. “Go play games or do a group project, or just go back to the dorm.”
“I came all this way; can’t I at least eat a meal before leaving? The bus ride took half an hour!”
“Ch!’ If I can’t become a great author, it’s definitely your fault.”
She mumbled to herself, watching Wen Yang walk towards the sofa, finally feeling at ease.
Strangely enough, her novels didn’t bother her when thousands online read them, but if her friends saw them, the embarrassment felt overwhelming.
And this one was supposed to be an autobiography…
If Wen Yang saw it, it would be like he stripped her bare—inside and out.
Ning Chu glanced behind, confirming Wen Yang was settled down on the sofa, then she resumed writing with a sigh of relief.
“What do you want to eat tonight? I’ll get it for you.”
“Sha County, it’s right downstairs and cheap.” She wasn’t too picky, “Get fried noodles and a beef stew.”
“Got it.”
“I’ll transfer the money to you…”
She worried Wen Yang would be too proud to admit when he was short on cash, so every time he bought something for her, she transferred him the money.
Wen Yang didn’t mind; he just nodded and asked, “What else do you want? I only want to make one trip down.”
“Hmm, maybe a cold cola.”
“Okay.”
He consciously tidied up the trash in the rental apartment, taking it out with him.
As the door clicked shut, Ning Chu placed her hands on the laptop keyboard and slowly typed out two lines, pausing for a moment before switching to a streaming video site, scrolling through trending videos.
When writing the small royal text, inspiration flowed freely; but when trying to write a serious novel, she’d get distracted after just two lines.
“I can’t keep this up, it’s been two days and I still only have two lines.”
She complained to herself while resting her chin on her hand, watching videos with an absent mind.
A moment later, she hesitated, glancing down at her chest.
Ever since the silver markings became fully formed, she felt a constant discomfort as if something was about to burst out.
She thought she might just be developing again, but after a week, her underwear didn’t feel tight at all.
It couldn’t be…
She wasn’t pregnant! No chance at all!
Ning Chu forced a smile, shaking her head and banishing those strange thoughts.
Maybe it was because she hadn’t disrupted the plot recently…
All the proactive female characters in school had pretty much been dealt with. With fewer of them around, the chances of running into plot points naturally decreased.
Yet there were still quite a few troublesome ones.
Especially that succubus ghost, An An. Who knows how many men she “consumed” in private?
Ning Chu suspected that the main reason An An thrived in school was her abilities. She was a perfect laborer—always working day and night.
Damn capitalists—school leaders! They won’t even let the dead rest!
Without Uncle Wen Yang or anyone else stepping in to resolve these issues, she had no choice but to ignore them for now.
Anyway, there was no way Wen Yang would fall for a female ghost’s seduction.
And that vampire, knowing Wen Yang, if he ever encountered a girl who fainted by herself, there was no way he could just stand by.
“This is nice; I don’t have to worry about feelings~”
“Except my tail keeps developing poorly.”
Compared to Lily’s cute little heart-decorated tail, hers was truly embarrassing.
A knock on the door startled her, and Ning Chu hurriedly got up to open it.
Wen Yang walked in holding a takeout bag, placing it on the coffee table while stealing a glance at the two lines on her screen.
“I didn’t see you write much while I was out for food.”
“Great books are polished over time.”
Ning Chu waved this away without missing a beat.
“Come eat.”
She sat down on the sofa, feeling a bit squished.
Then she suddenly remembered the medical check-up and put the takeout down, pulling out two check-up forms from her pocket.
“Here, these should be alright, right?”
“Yeah, all your check-ups are done, right?”
“Yeah, all done.”
Wen Yang glanced at the forms and quipped, “Poorly developed…”
Not just her tail—her chest and butt lacked volume too. For a succubus, that was definitely underdeveloped!
“Eat up and then head back; I’m busy tonight.”
Ning Chu turned on the TV and connected her phone to stream game content while they ate.
“Why are you in such a hurry to kick me out? Not even letting me read your novel.”
“I haven’t really written much.”
Wen Yang eyed Ning Chu, noticing her slightly thin pink lips, and a mischievous thought sparked in his mind.
“Well then, how about a farewell kiss before I go?”
“……”
Ning Chu’s face flushed red instantly.
This wasn’t the first time, so why was she feeling shy about it?
She mentally scolded herself, lightly nodding in agreement with Wen Yang’s suggestion.
It had been several days since they had kissed; somehow she felt a little excited…
Wen Yang finished eating first and dashed to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
He was always considerate about Ning Chu’s experience, terrified that he’d have a lingering taste that would upset her.
In just a couple of minutes, Wen Yang returned, staring intently at Ning Chu.
“……”
“Finished eating?”
“Yeah, I should brush my teeth too?”
Ning Chu looked down, trying to get up, but Wen Yang was already blocking her path at the sofa.
She looked up, only to see Wen Yang’s face rapidly filling her view, making her quickly drop her gaze.
When their lips met, Ning Chu found herself pushed down on the sofa, weakly struggling for just a moment before getting swept away by the heated, passionate kiss.
All her strength seemed to drain away, and she felt the weight of Wen Yang pinning her down, their chests pressed tightly against each other. Through layers of clothing, she could sense Wen Yang’s warmth.
“Mm!”
She was starting to lose breath, her heart racing faster, her eyes tinged with deep red, glistening as if ready to spill tears.
Wait!
What’s that hand doing?! Don’t touch there!
Ning Chu shivered, unable to suppress a light gasp.
Discontent brewed in her as she wanted to resist, but her body was pinned down, leaving her no option but to passively endure this unprecedented wave of pleasure.
“No way…”
Her mind turned to mush, and she lost track of time until Wen Yang finally stood up.
Breathing heavily, he looked at Ning Chu, who had melted into a puddle on the sofa.
Her face was flushed, lips slightly swollen and panting, eyes watery and dazed, as if still recovering from it all.
Her clothes were a complete mess, top pushed up revealing the silver markings on her abdomen.
Wen Yang nearly succumbed to temptation, taking a deep breath to suppress his surging emotions.
“Uh, I should go now?”
“Ah?”
Ning Chu snapped back to reality, glaring at Wen Yang with eyes full of yearning, like a unsatisfied little wife.
Struggling to sit up, she tugged her top down to cover her abdomen, pouting, “Hurry and get out.”
“How about I just stay the night?”
“Not happening!”
Well, she had found a new experience, so it wasn’t a loss.
Although rejected, Wen Yang’s face still radiated happiness.
His hands seemed to still carry a milky scent~ He wouldn’t wash his hands today.
