Chapter 233: Novel【3/20】
“Vision, 5.0,”
“Normal, normal, normal.”
“Tail underdeveloped…”
Due to the lack of plot disruption recently, Ning Chu’s tail was still a bit short, and even the heart-shaped tip hadn’t grown yet.
For an eighteen-year-old adult succubus, it was indeed underdeveloped.
She paused, a bit tangled, and raised her head to ask, “Xinya, do boys grow tails?”
“Nope.”
True enough, if boys grew tails they’d become beastmen, and this wasn’t a female-targeted royal novel; there was no such setting in the book at all.
So how was she supposed to submit this health check report?
Yan Xinya peered over, taking a look, “No worries, the teacher probably won’t check it anyway?”
“Yeah, true.”
“Let’s head to class~”
Ning Chu had no choice but to deliver some bad news to the wolf girl: “We don’t need to go back… we’ve been marked absent.”
“Huh?”
Yan Xinya froze for a moment, her face falling: “I won’t fail, will I?”
“Just once, it’s fine, right?”
“It’s all your fault~ You owe me a milk tea now!”
Having dodged the health check, Ning Chu felt good and wouldn’t skimp on a little milk tea.
She and Yan Xinya strolled towards the cafeteria, thinking now that they’ve been marked absent, it’s better to just go back to the rental apartment and write her novel.
The wolf girl, always bouncing around with her lively image, quickly forgot about the absent marks, running around the path, sometimes pouncing on Ning Chu to rub her face.
That image looked just like a big dog that had been cooped up at home for too long, finally getting out to run wild.
Ning Chu seriously considered whether she should put Yan Xinya on a leash.
But that seemed really embarrassing…
What a strange kink play!
“Milk cap!”
Upon reaching the milk tea shop in the cafeteria, Yan Xinya immediately pointed to the most expensive milk tea.
“One strawberry milk cap, and add some lemon juice.”
Ning Chu ordered at the counter, then turned to the wolf girl and asked, “Are you going back to the dorm later?”
“Do you have something to do?”
“Yeah, I’m thinking of going back to the rental apartment.”
“Not waiting for Wen Yang to come back with you?”
“Nope.”
In fact, Ning Chu hadn’t let Wen Yang stay with her in the rental apartment these past couple of days, partly to avoid being disturbed while writing her novel, and partly because she feared Wen Yang would make even more demanding requests before bed.
Once or twice of that was fine, but if she let Wen Yang take advantage, it wouldn’t be long before she’d be giving it all away.
“Then I’ll go play basketball on the playground~”
Yan Xinya was also quite good at basketball, reportedly having joined the department’s basketball team.
After getting her milk tea, the wolf girl waved her tail at Ning Chu: “I’m off then!”
“Bye~”
Watching that big dog run excitedly out of the cafeteria, Ning Chu chuckled and shook her head, grabbing the lemon juice from the counter.
This wolf girl must definitely be a husky.
After messaging Wen Yang about her whereabouts, she left the school and boarded the bus heading to the rental apartment.
Ning Chu had written for two days, yet her computer folder was still empty.
In truth, she had written a ten-thousand-word draft, but after editing and polishing, the more she looked at it, the more dissatisfied she became, so she ultimately chose to delete it and start over.
Writing royal novels gave her inspiration…
Like a carefree rich second-generation guy being transformed into a girl, cursing and spouting colorful phrases while being pinned down by the honest roommate!
I really want to write that!
Ning Chu’s DNA ignited, she couldn’t hold back, her fingers danced swiftly on the keyboard, smoothly typing over a thousand words before stopping.
“Hmm… why have I started writing this kind of stuff again?”
She suddenly realized, frustrated, holding her head: “What if Shao Qing really becomes a girl!”
Ning Chu quickly closed the current document, but after a moment of consideration, she still saved it, tossing it into a locked folder.
She patted her cheeks to uplift her spirits, opened a blank document again, ready to seriously write her online novel.
But that royal novel she just wrote had pleased her mind…
Her legs unintentionally squeezed together, different from the explosive response from punishment, a slight warmth developed in her lower abdomen, a subtle burning sensation slowly spreading, gradually eroding her rationality.
Theoretically, Ning Chu should be able to easily resist such impulses.
But after repeatedly clenching her legs to read, her ability to resist desires seemed to be getting weaker.
Besides, this was the rental apartment, a private space, and no one would discover her…
Such thoughts made her impulses even harder to suppress.
Ning Chu leaned on the table, her face blushing a shade of peach, her lips pursed, and her restless legs rubbed against each other, gradually, her entire body radiating a charming rosy hue.
Suddenly, the door was knocked on.
“Here we go again…”
Ning Chu helplessly pressed her hot face against the table, rolling her eyes.
Fortunately, it wasn’t a punishment-related desire; with a shiver, she swiftly controlled her body’s impulses, shook her head, ignored the knocking, and headed into the bathroom.
“Ning Chu?”
“Just wait two minutes.”
Wen Yang also skipped class.
It was only six o’clock; this was normally when classes ended, but Wen Yang was already standing outside the door.
Ning Chu splashed her face with water, glanced at her reflection in the mirror.
The redness in her face had faded, but the rich blush at the corners of her eyes combined with her watery, peach blossom-like eyes still made her look enchanting.
Clearly a sweet, purifying face of a high school student, yet paired with such a pair of eyes.
That contrast was pretty tantalizing…
Ning Chu wiped her face again and jogged to open the door.
“Why were you taking so long? Were you doing something bad?” Wen Yang stood at the door, holding a bag of snacks, “Egg burger, want some?”
“Of course!”
She immediately snatched the egg burger, ignoring the first half of Wen Yang’s sentence, and turned back to sit in front of the computer: “So why did you skip class too?”
“I helped you and Xinya get leave forms, and got myself one too.”
Wen Yang leaned against the table, crossing his arms, and looked down at the girl beside him.
“Is the counselor that easy to talk to?”
“Well, I’m the class monitor.”
Yet he noticed Ning Chu frowning in dissatisfaction: “You should give up your spot as class monitor.”
“Last time I wanted to accompany you to see your uncle! That old witch wouldn’t let me take leave! How come you got it so easily?”
“Because that counselor is in her forties or fifties… her son is probably older than me.”
Ning Chu pouted, mumbling: “Double standards…”
“Anyway, you’ve cleared your absence for today.” Wen Yang glanced at Ning Chu’s computer screen, “How come after two days, not even a single word?”
“Because you kept saying that having me around would affect your writing, otherwise I wouldn’t have gone back to the dorm to sleep.”
Seeing a beautiful little succubus or a carefree second-generation guy made enough difference to affect Wen Yang’s mood for the whole day.
Ning Chu straightened her back confidently: “Writing the beginning of a novel is really tough!”
“Then tonight I’ll…”
“Not happening! Go back to the dorm to sleep.”
