Chapter 111: A Weekend Alone?
On Friday in class, Zhang Shaoqing was discussing weekend plans with Wang Jie.

“Girlfriend,” Wang Jie replied, smiling bashfully like a lovesick puppy, “but we’ve only held hands.”
Wen Yang’s jaw dropped: “Look at you, quietly surpassing us in the dating game!”
“We got together in high school.”
After a moment’s thought, Zhang Shaoqing slapped his thigh: “Then just get her a phone!”

Ning Chu suddenly felt like Wang Jie was in some danger.
The poor guy has only held hands and is in a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend.

“I’ll leave at noon and get back around seven, plus I can bring you dinner.”
Ning Chu had the feeling this guy had already assumed the boyfriend role, judging by how protective he was acting.
