Chapter 110: Sensitivity [5/35]
Did the punishment for disrupting the plot turn into something else?
On the way back to the dorm, Ning Chu still had a slight blush on her face, but her expression was exceptionally serious.
Just lightly rubbing her legs brought an unprecedented pleasure that was carved deep in her heart.
So strange…
Although it felt good, her sense of alertness was at an all-time high.
If she really got carried away, wouldn’t she just become the female side character in the plot? Sooner or later, she’d end up acting out scenes with Wen Yang.
That’s terrifying!
As a guy, the punishment for disrupting the plot meant stomach aches and feminization; now that she was a girl, was it going to manifest as shivers?
Even though it was a scorching 35 degrees, Ning Chu felt a chill creep down her back, shivering at the thought.
“Going to the cafeteria for dinner?” Wen Yang paused at the entrance, glancing back at a few people.
“My takeout has probably already arrived.”
“Same here.”
Wen Yang didn’t ask the two, his gaze shifting to Ning Chu, but she just shook her head: “Forget it, I want to go back to the dorm and rest.”
“Then I…” he hesitated, falling into step with Ning Chu. “Wait for me; I’ll pack up?”
“Just in time to grab some snacks from the convenience store,” Zhang Shaoqing chimed in with a grin, “I saw a new movie out; let’s watch it together tonight?”
Wang Jie curiously asked, “What type?”
“Exciting!”
Instantly, all the guys’ attention was captured, but Ning Chu frowned and firmly rejected, “You can watch it by yourself! Don’t include anyone else!”
Wen Yang turned to her, nodding rapidly like a bobblehead: “Yeah, just hide under your blankets and watch alone; why drag us into it?”
Before, he didn’t know Ning Chu was a girl, so watching movies with Zhang Shaoqing wasn’t a problem. But now, thinking there was a girl he liked nearby… well, that was just too embarrassing.
“What are you guys even thinking? I was talking about horror movies!”
“……”
The group bickered back to the dorm, while Ning Chu wore a worried look, occasionally glancing down to check if anything about her body had changed.
The enchantment corresponded to her earlier stomach ache; this was just the first punishment after disrupting the plot. Now that she was a girl, what was supposed to be the punishment of feminization turning into?
That unknown made her anxious. As soon as she got back to her dorm, she rushed into the bathroom first.
Like before, she carefully checked her face.
No changes; only the small flaws had disappeared, and her peach blossom eyes looked even more charming.
Upgraded!
She bit her lip and looked at her body.
It seemed like her little bumps had inflated a bit, but not significantly—still probably below the B standard.
Ning Chu measured with her palm, but her face turned visibly red at lightning speed.
Clearly, the most sensitive areas were covered in band-aids, yet her body’s sensitivity had evidently increased!
Before, touching it felt like soft flesh that was scared of pain, and a bit of pressure caused discomfort. Now, the feedback was surprisingly pleasant.
After a few more attempts, she could confirm.
“This time it’s sensitivity that changed…”
Her expression soured, but worrying about other potentially deadly changes in her body made her hold back her negative emotions and continue observing.
Lifting her shirt, her gaze landed on her flat belly.
She had no muscle; her soft little tummy felt like cotton. But crucially, there were faint pink lines on her lower abdomen that she hadn’t seen before—hardly noticeable unless you really looked.
“Skin disease?”
Just a curve of a line, shapeless, leaving her puzzled.
Ning Chu paused but didn’t pay much attention.
“Hurry up!” Zhang Shaoqing anxiously knocked on the door outside, “Did you fall in? Hurry up! I’m about to wet my pants!”
His frantic yet pleading tone made Ning Chu want to laugh. She casually pressed the toilet flush button before opening the door.
Before she could step out of the bathroom, Zhang Shaoqing rushed in, yanked down his pants, and the sound of rushing water echoed.
Ning Chu scrunched her face in disgust and was about to leave when Zhang Shaoqing teased, “Big, huh?”
“Ew~ gross.”
Didn’t even want to look.
There were descriptions of villains in books too.
The best he could do didn’t even reach normal male levels; in the world of Small Royal Text, he’d just be a little brother compared to Wen Yang—practically a worm.
Otherwise, Zhang Shaoqing wouldn’t care so much about size.
Hearing the disdain in her tone, Zhang Shaoqing shot back angrily, “What?! What do you mean! Let’s compare!”
“Childish.”
Ning Chu left the bathroom and returned to her dorm, where her dinner was already delivered, placed on her desk by Wen Yang.
Curry chicken cutlet rice, twenty bucks.
This was takeout from an off-campus restaurant, significantly pricier than the cafeteria.
Taking a bite of the chicken cutlet, Ning Chu chewed while watching a food review video, but her mind was still on the punishment issue.
This time, it was an increase in sensitivity, but it didn’t seem like too big of a problem.
After all, she wouldn’t allow any guy to touch her body.
Having eaten a couple of bites, Ning Chu turned to Wen Yang: “What did you eat tonight?”
Wen Yang looked up, also having dinner.
“Come here, I can’t finish my chicken cutlet; I’ll give you a couple pieces.”
It was almost the end of the month, and even without Wen Yang saying it, Ning Chu could clearly tell this guy’s diet had noticeably worsened.
“Fine then.”
Wen Yang brought the packed box over to her, taking two pieces of chicken cutlet, and then just stayed there, watching the video with her.
“What did you eat today?”
“Just ordered some shredded potatoes.”
“Bring me some.”
Ning Chu tilted her neck to pass him her bowl: “Just a little; I don’t like potatoes.”
“Okay.” Wen Yang’s demeanor turned a bit gloomy. After a moment of silence, he said, “I have to go out to do some part-time work this week.”
“!!”
She was being so considerate towards Wen Yang because she didn’t want him to have to take on part-time work!
Ning Chu firmly opposed: “No way! Aren’t you making money playing games every night?”
“This one’s unstable…”
“Well, too bad!”
She stared defiantly at Wen Yang, but surprisingly he pushed back a bit: “I’ve already arranged it—tutoring, fifty per hour.”
Oh great! Now he’s being rebellious!
Ning Chu actually felt a bit pleased inside. This time her unyielding opposition would surely lower Wen Yang’s affection for her.
“No way!” So she raised her voice, glaring at Wen Yang fiercely.
At times like this, the more unreasonable, the better! And it had to be without any reason!
“Stop arguing.”
However, Wang Jie jumped in as the mediator: “Anyway, we just play games in the dorm on weekends. Isn’t it good for Wen Yang to go work part-time and gain some experience?”
It’s not like I don’t think it’s good!
But why are you getting involved?!
Ning Chu froze for a moment, crossing her arms and turning her head away: “Then I’ll go too.”
“He’s just a little middle school boy; why would they need two tutors…” Wen Yang emphasized the student and parent genders, “It’s a single-parent family; it’s just his dad.”
In the end, Ning Chu wasn’t the kind of person to throw a tantrum without reason.
She really had no argument against it, begrudgingly lowering her head to continue eating, murmuring, “It’s still no good…”
