Searching for news online isn’t at all like Mika…” It was impossible not to overhear given how close we were, but she seemed so dizzy that she couldn’t even think of that.
“Mika, do you really not remember anything? At all?”
“Yeah. Probably because I didn’t even know my own name. So it was only thanks to Nagichan calling me Mika that I managed to find out my name.”
“…Hmm. By the way, my name’s not Nagichan; it’s Kirihouji Nagisa. Your name is Misono Mika. Phew, how did things come to this…”

There was no reply from Nagisa, who seemed deep in thought, looking somewhat troubled. I became a little curious about what she was contemplating.

If such an event had indeed occurred, it would have been expected to find an article discussing the disappearance of the Student Council President or the aftermath of that disappearance. In any case, it was confirmed that the reincarnation occurred before the original story.
I think I might be able to learn the exact timeframe from Nagisa. During our conversation, our ages, grades, and social standing should inevitably come up.
One thing that came to mind as I read the article was that Mika had been secretly planning various things since around a year before the original timeline. Given how significant Mika’s role is in the main story, it will likely be a major concern for me how to navigate my own path.
But one thing’s for sure: I don’t want to end up like the original Mika. Although Mika’s character development involves her growing personally and becoming a better character, just the thought of following in her footsteps makes me feel suffocated. Honestly, it was heartbreaking to see our favored character suffer and fall apart, and now that I might face that, all I can think is that I want to avoid that future at all costs.
Thus, I have to find a way to steer clear of getting caught up in troubles while still aiming for outcomes that either resemble or surpass those of the original story. It’s clear that this won’t be an easy process.

I might have picked up a few new insights, but I was mostly aware of the content already. This meant that I focused more on the seemingly insignificant, minor details since they might actually be relevant.
“So according to Nagichan, I am the head of the Pater faction, one of the largest factions in Kivotos, and I sit in one of the three Student Council President seats at Trinity.”

If you think about it, that aversion toward Gehenna might be the worst trait that has influenced Mika. Since Mika didn’t really give a proper reason for it, it was more a feeling of baseless aversion.
I, too, am unsure if this feeling is a result of being reincarnated as Mika, but the moment I hear Gehenna, I can feel a faint displeasure creeping up. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to reach the extreme level of aversion that Mika had, so I can probably keep it under control.
This is just an assumption, but it must be deeply connected to the mystery that all the female students of Kivotos possess. Much analysis suggests that Mika’s mystery is rooted in the archangel Michael, since it was Michael who cast down the evil being Satan, and thus it wouldn’t be surprising if someone of demon lineage like most students in Gehenna resented that.
Thinking about it, do I actually have the ability to handle my own mystery? For now, my halo is intact, and my body feels full of energy, so my physical abilities seem fine.
Although I’m not sure if I can handle something that resembles the superpower Mika is known to utilize in-game… let’s save that for later. Given the nature of Blue Archive, students often have to engage in battles, so having all the combat capability I can muster will definitely be helpful.
In truth, Mika’s main contribution in the main story relies heavily on her combat prowess, so if I can’t fight properly in this body, it’ll create issues in various ways.
If the battle strength of Kenzaki Tsurugi, head of the Justice Realization Department at Trinity, who stands on par with me as a top fighter, wanes, it wouldn’t be surprising if something unexpected happened. Therefore, reaching a comparable level of combat power is absolutely essential.
One problem, however, is that I am currently untrained. I mean, I’m the kind of person who doesn’t even know how to shoot a gun; I have now found myself in Mika’s body, who can easily take down most students with just her physical abilities.
