Returning to the Irene School, I was preparing to allocate tasks with a plan in mind.
The reason we started with distribution instead of just diving into the work was that this project had a plethora of new things to tackle.
RPG battle system development,
System development for an enormous story progression,
Attractive character and world art design,
Story and direction,
And the most important element, the implementation of a [3D world],
Each and every one of these tasks was critically important.
So far, there had been only one such significant task in game development.
The rest were based on know-how gained from developing other games, which helped shorten development time.
However, this project required resolving all five of those critical tasks at once.
The workload was so immense that even if Jiren was jogging in the air and Julia was digging tunnels to escape, there would be little to say.
But there was no choice.
Considering the situation of the gamers and the current trends in the gaming industry,
This game was something that absolutely had to be made, and
This task was a must-do.
After spending about two sleepless days in the lab organizing everything, the overall planning came together, and I gathered everyone involved in the work.
With the scale of the project, the number of people assembled was no joke.
Naturally, our master from the Irene School and the disciples gathered together.
“Thank you for all your hard work organizing the schedule, Yuren.”
“It was tough, Yuren-nim.”
This meeting included not just the usual disciples, but also ten newly adulted disciples, including Lauren.
“Can we really sit here?”
“Don’t worry, since Yuren oppa has given permission, just sit down.”
Our disciples at the Irene School had a standardized education curriculum designed by our master.
The younger disciples studied that curriculum, and simultaneously, those among the older disciples who wished to delve into game development, from me to Noirin, were taking turns mentoring them.
With that training, and having gradually participated in game-making, all ten participating disciples now had the skills to create a game on their own if they were at a different school.
An impressive lineup of my disciples, but this was just the beginning.
“Hahaha! Yuren, I’m here!”
“Hello, Irene-nim, Yuren-nim.”
Now, familiar faces from the Juel School, Julia and Lauren, had also arrived.
Their experience in helping us and creating Puyo Puyo was invaluable for this project.
And there was more.
“Hello, Yuren.”
“Ah, you’ve arrived, Harbor Claudia-nim.”
It was Harbor, a first-grade wizard from the Claudia School with a gentle smile and light green hair, along with other disciples.
They had managed to create some games with the know-how they learned from us, but they hadn’t hit the jackpot yet.
So, they decided to assist us as a subcontractor for this project.
With their help, we could improve the 3D backgrounds and weather effects.
While the school representatives were all gathered, we still weren’t fully assembled.
“Long time no see! Yuren! Do you need my help again? Hahaha!”
“It’s been a while, Apollo-nim.”
With his short brown hair and a cross-shaped scar on his cheek, Apollo, the guild master of the Zeus Mercenary Guild and our martial arts and action advisor at the Irene School, had arrived.
We called upon him again to enhance the action sequences of characters, including Sky’s great sword technique.
“I’m here, Yuren.”
“It’s wonderful to see you again, Yuren-nim.”
Finally, with Silvia and Butler Thomas joining for contract and financial matters, everyone crucial to the project was assembled.
Irene School: 15 members
Juel School: 10 members
Claudia School: 8 members
Zeus Mercenary Guild: 1 member
Edward Consortium: 2 members (+ over 2000 others)
At that moment, all the necessary forces to advance the project had come together.
It was truly a moment I wanted to shout “Game developers assemble!”
*
In the largest conference room of the newly built Irene School, I sat beside our master, with Silvia on my other side, and Silvia spoke first.
“Then, before we start, Thomas.”
“Yes, milady.”
Butler Thomas distributed the contracts to everyone.
Those from other schools, seeing the contracts for the first time, stared blankly while reading.
“This is a non-disclosure agreement. Everyone, please sign to promise not to reveal any secrets about this game until its release.”
In this other world, contracts could include magical restraints.
For instance, if there was a leak about such a project, one might be rendered mute, unable to speak or write.
Since contracts like this are occasionally done for significant tasks, everyone read the contract without any objection and signed it.
Yet, everyone would likely find themselves itching to speak due to this contract someday.
I can’t wait for that day to come.
Once Silvia and Butler Thomas collected the contracts, I stood up to begin the presentation.
“Thank you all for gathering. Before we start, I’d like to ask a question.”
Feeling the attention of everyone, I entered my long-awaited presentation mode from my previous life and began to speak.
“Have any of you ever dreamed of something like this?”
I looked at each person as I spoke.
The basis of a presentation lies in the connection with the audience.
When the rapport between the presenter and the audience is perfect, the presentation becomes a show.
“Imagine going to another world with a different civilization and getting caught up in conspiracies and battles, embarking on adventures, defeating enemies, and ultimately becoming a hero by saving the world.”
This isn’t a fairy tale with no isekai.
On the contrary, it was even more familiar, filled with many royal legends.
The stories of such legends were nearly always similar.
Visiting a new world, meeting others, facing crises and overcoming them, and finally, the reward.
Everyone began to show expressions of resonance with my words.
“I have! Brother!”
“Me too! Yuren! By the way, you were the princess! Hahaha!”
Julia’s joke made everyone chuckle lightly.
Where had that sunflower-like Julia gone that day?
I should print a picture of her and show it to everyone next time.
Putting aside the momentary laughter, I continued.
“It may seem absurd, but that’s why that dream is fun. A brand new world, heart-pounding adventures, wonderful comrades, and even a lover; such fantasies set our hearts racing just through imagination.”
I had dreamed such dreams countless times.
That’s why I loved RPGs, and that’s why I loved novels.
I believe that craving for such fantasies is a desire present in all beings with a spirit.
“But sadly, such experiences are just imaginary fantasies. I can’t even remember when I last saw such an ultimate vision in a dream.”
Sadly, in this other world, the enjoyable experiences could only be savored in dreams and fairy tales.
To me, reality was already a fantasy.
And there were far too few worlds (works) that could be considered even more fantastic than that reality.
“But what if we could experience that fantasy at any time?”
What would happen if we presented a fantasy world unseen to them?
What if we descended into their realm with a game, a game that has been verified and validated, unlike the previous life’s stories turning into movies and reaching games?
“If gamers could venture into unknown worlds anytime through this Game Crystal Ball, how thrilling would that be?”
It would truly spark a culture shock.
Perhaps a shock far greater than Super Thomas would overwhelm the gamers in this other world, and they would never forget the moment they first experienced it.
Forever.
“This project aims to allow gamers to enjoy their [ultimate fantasy] within the game for eternity.”
My words seemed to resonate with everyone, making them understand how significant this project was.
Even the mischievous Julia, Jiren, and Commander Apollo listened seriously to what I had to say.
“So, I hope everyone here remembers this.”
Now it’s time to conclude.
No elaborate tricks or performances are necessary now.
I just needed to convey the heart I had while creating this game to everyone.
“The day we can encapsulate that fantasy within this crystal ball, what we create will be recorded as not just [the best game], but as a [masterpiece].”
A Rockstar from my past life once said,
“I will not become a rock star. I will become a legend.”
This game will be like that.
This game won’t simply become a [popular game].
This game will be remembered as a [legend].
“Now, I will begin the explanation of the development plan for [Eternal Fantasy].”

The site is fast and lightweight because there are no ads yet. However, the theme is different from Cybor-TL, so take some time to familiarize yourself.
