He bounced into the room, glanced at the bed, and saw Ning Chu’s head buried mostly under the covers, her half-open eyes just peeking out.
“The clock’s ticking; we need to check out in an hour.”
“Okay, then I’ll hurry up and pack.”
“Why are you calling Wen Yang ‘big brother’ all of a sudden?” Ning Chu poked her head out of the covers, yawning as she asked.
She was dressed neatly, though a bit rumpled. Even though the hotel bed looked clean, she still found it quite disgusting and always dressed properly to sleep in hotels.
“Even if he’s a big deal!”
“Huh???”
Ning Chu paused, not reacting right away.
Zhang Shaoqing dramatically bowed to Ning Chu and shouted, “Sister-in-law!”

Life was pretty sweet now, but she definitely missed the carefree feeling of being a man, hanging out with a bunch of guys.
As time went on, she could no longer piece together what her former male appearance was like; the memories faded into fragments, as if she had always been a woman.
“Chicken leg.” Wen Yang wrapped a chicken leg in a napkin and handed it to Ning Chu while cautiously reminding her, “It’s a bit hot, be careful.”

“Give it to me; finish the meat.”
Zhang Shaoqing grumbled, “Who eats a burger without the bread?”
