Chapter 336

<Real-time ACS Brutal’s Remarks Summary.txt>

When I challenged the Korea server, I was filled with confidence.

Looking back now, that confidence should be called arrogance.

It seems I got too cocky after achieving the top rank on the North America server and others.

If I had succeeded in conquering the Korea server in that state and returned to the U.S. to continue the league, I probably wouldn’t have performed as well as I did today.

I might have disappointed the fans by showing a poor performance right from my debut. It’s quite a plausible scenario.

Ultimately, my experience on the Korea server helped me grow, allowing me to finish today’s match excellently.

Q: What happened on the Korea server?

I met a really impressive figure on the Korea server. Her name is Kayak, and she was like a mentor who enlightened me when I was just rampaging without knowing anything.

….

(Kayak standing majestically in black and white photo)

Oh, it’s you again, Goat.

-I can’t believe this is being mentioned in the interview, LOL.

– Too suspiciously loved by pros…

– The legendary pro gamer Goat Jun Hyuk and the monstrous rookie BruTal. Are all high-skilled players in love with Kayak?

Naw, she’s incredibly good at the game, super pretty, and has a great figure. How can you dislike her? LOL.

For real, BruBung only started liking her after he got that video letter from Kayak.

BruBung is transparent, though. When he lost to Kayak on the first server, he was all like “I’m retiring” and making a fuss, but now he’s just thrilled after getting that video.

Honestly, he’s still a kid, I can forgive him, but he was really awkward back then, Goat.

If he were a normal guy, it’d be hard not to like Kayak.

<Ugh, LOL BruBung dude>

He’s hyped after carrying in his debut match, LOL. He’s so excited to show off to Kayak.

-It’s so funny how he wins the match, celebrates with his teammates, and suddenly tries to act all serious, ROFL.

Oh, LOL, Kayak’s watching, he gotta play cool, LOL.

Seriously, when he was conquering the server, he was cool, but how did he end up like this?

He’s perfectly acting his age, why? LOL.

BruBung is still 17, so that makes sense.

He acts like a broken high school kid in front of someone he likes, yeah.
Look at this high schooler acting all broken in front of someone they like, right?

Isn’t this basically a public confession?

They get tickets to come watch the match.

Book a first-class flight for them.

Reserve a five-star hotel so they can come and relax.

Then the player mentions some streamer in an interview after winning, who’s basically just a regular person over there.

Isn’t this outright saying they like them?

– Nah, it’s not public confession; they’ve probably been secretly dating all along.

– Yeah, they’re definitely rolling around in a five-star hotel together already.

Dude, that’s just a little more than a friendship.

C’mon, Kayak already said she’s too young and it’s not her type, seriously, lol.

– BruBung is so obvious, though, haha.

– For him, first class and five-star hotels are pocket change, right? He did it out of kindness!

– But seriously, why is it that every guy Kayak gets involved with is a mess? A 17-year-old punk and an almost 40-year-old old man…

Nah, Taker’s still in his 30s; he’s not that old yet.

Taker vs. Brutal… Brutal wins.

Honestly, this whole thing is just breadcrumbs—they’re not even really involved!

What’s not involved about going to the beach together, eating, holding hands, whispering sweet nothings, and flying to America?

But hey, the lineup of girls he’s hooking up with is pretty solid, right?

Oh…

(Polar bear struggling to breathe underwater meme)

The gallery owner is such an unpredictable person, haha… Whatever they feel is the most important thing.

For real, if they suddenly announced a wedding, no one would even bat an eye.

I wasn’t even that surprised when the lesbian came out.

They could suddenly pop out with a kid, who knows?

Oh… Miss Kayak…

Now we’ve reached a point where anything the gallery owner does is justifiable.

Don’t expect common sense from Kayak.

I have a friend on the ACS side, and I heard this news.

Kayak grabbed Brutal by the scruff! Like, really shook him!

– ??? Suddenly?

– What on earth is the gallery owner doing in America?

– Why the heck would she grab a player out of nowhere—this crazy lady, haha.

– Kayak is always exceeding expectations, huh?

– Brutal probably has a broken neck now.

Sounds like a wife nagging her husband.

Are they already at that stage?

??? : Hey, why are you talking about me over there?!

Looks like her expressions of affection are a bit more aggressive than expected.

Was that Kayak’s type all along?

Kayak, the great SM player, whoa!
Caught in a massive kayak, whoa!

Someone said the gallery owner’s strength is stronger than an orangutan, LOL.

I also want to be grabbed by Kayak, I can be a good match too, sob.

Huh?

Kayak, my dear….

Looking at the completely unfazed Brutal’s face, I suddenly felt a surge of heat.

In a fit of rage, I grabbed him by the collar and shook him violently.

This guy, grinning obliviously, doesn’t know what it’s like; is this situation funny? Is it?

Then came the staff and guards, rushing in like they were about to have a heart attack. That’s when I snapped back to reality, clicking my tongue.

This isn’t a private meeting with Brutal; I just acted out in a public place.

Right now, it’s a fan meeting where fans meet players, and fans engaging in such sudden actions usually get kicked out. I wouldn’t be treated any differently.

Looks like I won’t be able to fulfill Riri’s request for a signature. That’s what I stood in line for all this time.

I also wanted to thank Brutal; I was going to say thank you for inviting me with a nice plane and hotel.

But seeing it this way, I must be completely out of my mind.

Here I came to thank him and ended up grabbing his collar out of nowhere. And we haven’t even met before!

Grabbing a stranger by the collar and shaking them around must’ve scrambled my brain for a moment.

But it’s Brutal’s fault too. What’s he doing mentioning me in an interview?

Still, wrong is wrong.

As I was about to say sorry for grabbing his collar, suddenly.

“Uh, uh… Signature. Signature?”

Brutal murmured, his eyes looking somewhere between blurry and confused.

He even gestured kindly to make it easier for the foreigner to understand.

The motion of holding a pen and scribbling, was he saying he’d give me a signature?

He politely sent away the guards and staff who were trying to escort me out and kindly gave me a signature.

He asked all sorts of questions using a translation app on his phone – if the trip was okay, the hotel comfortable, how today’s match was, all very thoughtfully.

What’s up with this guy all of a sudden?

“Sorry for grabbing your collar.”

“Um, it’s okay. It’s fine. Friends can grab each other’s collars and all. It felt like girl crush and was pretty cool!”

Brutal smiled as he said that, and while it was nice that he forgave my mistake and used a translation app to communicate with me, there was also this feeling like something was a bit off.
“What should I say, it’s nice that they forgive my mistakes and even run a translator to communicate with me, but it feels like one screw is loose somewhere.”

“Did I grip him too harshly?”

I seriously wondered if it was my fault that Brutal had turned into an idiot.

Seeing his expression suddenly become so dumb compared to when we were playing the match was quite convincing.

Suddenly, I had a fleeting thought of some delusion where the team examined him after he had been acting strangely and found there was something wrong with his brain.

I considered taking him to the hospital even now.

“I’ll go to Korea next time.”

“Korea? Why Korea?”

“ACK has me very interested. The Korean league is number one in the world, so I’d love to see a game live. When I go, you should be my guide.”

His expression was a bit odd, but since he spoke perfectly fine, it didn’t seem like anything was really wrong.

By the way, he asked for a guide. Ugh, that sounds annoying.

“Sure, contact me when you come to Korea.”

“Sounds good.”

Normally, I would have declined, but since I had taken something from him and I had just messed up a bit, I had no choice but to say that.

Even though I agreed to the after-meeting, I was half-hearted about it.

There’s no way he would actually come to Korea, right? He’s a rookie just making his debut, busy with matches and scrims.

Even if he wanted to come, he couldn’t just waltz in with the team holding him back. It would probably only be possible after the season when his schedule was lighter.

With Brutal’s autograph in hand, I left the stadium and headed to my hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I dove into the fluffy bed and let out a manly sound.

“Ugh….”

Now all my schedules are done. I’ve completed the quest Riri gave me. With time left before my return, I should just relax and enjoy some sightseeing.

I trusted that nothing else would come up and believed I could enjoy my vacation without a care in the world.

*

“Hey, you. Do you want to become my woman?”

“…?”

What the heck, this pig.

A guy with a body that looked like it could roll around and a figure like a jar of desires approached me while I was busy sightseeing.
