I muttered as I felt my body growing cold.

Become a Hero? What a vague objective.
It’s not that Heroes don’t exist or anything.
In fact, Heroes are more common than you’d think.
There are 10 recognized Saint-level Heroes by the Church.
Including them, there are 100 High-ranking Heroes.
And approximately a thousand regular Heroes are out there running around.
A destroyed world, an era where Heroes are a dime a dozen.
And I’ve been tasked with the goal of becoming one.
Yet, even that seems too tough for me.
I’ve got no talent.
No opportunities.
There’s no way a plain person like me could be told to become a Hero without something happening.
