Chae Suhyeon appeared to be in deep contemplation.
She was still feeling dazed about her current state.

Her heart was in turmoil.

The attending physician wore a puzzled expression, clearly unable to comprehend the situation.
It was utterly unexpected for Chae Suhyeon, a top-tier hunter in the nation, to have a slow recovery.
“I think we need to contact the Hunter Association to check the status window. Something seems off…”
The doctor was certain that there was something wrong with her hunter stats.
There was a machine at the Hunter Association that could indirectly check the contents of a hunter’s status window.
Using that, they could verify and assign ranks.
‘Ah!!! No, no!!!!’
Chae Suhyeon shot up.
She couldn’t speak, but she used gestures to try to stop the doctor.
“Excuse me? Is there something you need?”
‘No! Don’t contact the Hunter Association!!!!’
Chae Suhyeon wanted to scream.
But even that failed since her voice wouldn’t cooperate.
It was a dire situation.
What if the Hunter Association found out that Chae Suhyeon’s stats were at E-rank?
She would lose all the privileges she currently enjoyed.
The VIP room she was staying in was provided by Lee Jinhyeok.
She would be expelled from the Baekho Guild, and Lee Jinhyeok would surely look at her as if she were worthless.
Getting caught was just a matter of time.
However, she believed that if she could resolve the situation somehow before being discovered, then everything would be fine.

She blocked the doctor’s way.
To prevent him from leaving.

The doctor naturally felt bewildered.
“If you have something you want to say, could you write it down here?”
He handed her a piece of paper.

The doctor bowed and left.

Lee Jinhyeok could only tilt his head slightly as he watched Chae Suhyeon.

Whenever she attempted to step outside for just a moment, nurses would come rushing.

Chae Suhyeon was planning on approaching and clinging to Baek Jihoon again by any means necessary.
She felt that charming every single hunter would require an overwhelming number of encounters.
“It’s definitely easier to rely on Jihoon Oppa than to do this myself. I need to turn Jihoon Oppa’s heart around…”
Chae Suhyeon nodded, gradually building her resolve.

“Gasp… h-huff… Hui… Hunter Chae Suhyeon… O-oh, it was such an honor today.”
A certain hunter, completely spaced out, lay sprawled on the bed.
“Please, don’t speak about me anywhere. Absolutely not, understand?”

The man was utterly entranced, his eyes glazed over as if he were in a daze.
He appeared almost emaciated.
“Finally… I can speak again…”
Chae Suhyeon had accomplished a lot in just a day.
“Ugh… I can’t believe I have to do this dirty deed again.”
“I’m not some kind of prostitute…”
“I have no choice. It’s for my own sake. Anyone would act this way in this situation.”
“Chae… Chae Suhyeon… Hunter, please take my life… my body… I dedicate them to you. Please…”
The hunter, lost in ecstasy, seemed to regain a little sense as he knelt, bare and bowed his head towards Chae Suhyeon.
“Ugh… sorry, but I don’t need that. Your trait doesn’t seem particularly impressive.”
“Cough… please… I beg you. I’ll become a slave to Hunter Chae Suhyeon. I don’t think I can live without you from now on. Cough…”

Chae Suhyeon opened the status window of the man.
“I’ve drained everything I could from him. Sigh. Only the shell remains.”
“Regular hunters just aren’t satisfying. They don’t elevate my abilities, do they? Taking advantage of guys like this could take more than a decade.”
“Ugh… Jihoon Oppa…”
Chae Suhyeon bit her lip and left the room.
