Lian instinctively realized that Ellensia had become an Angel. As he fell into shock, unable to comprehend this certainty, the Gag God began to explain each reason in detail.
“Wow, I didn’t teach you anything, and you’re figuring things out!”
The Gag God exaggeratedly applauded in admiration. With a dazed expression, Lian finally spoke up.
“So… what you’re saying is that I’ve become the god of this world… right?”
“In simpler terms, yes!”
The God of Dark Fantasy had grown weaker but still ‘existed.’ As long as a god existed, the world could somehow continue to live and breathe. But as Lian devoured that god, the world began to crumble.
He hit the accelerator towards destruction. The Will of the World, frantic to stop him, realized that the boundary between life and death was collapsing and rushed to intervene.
Just as it was about to confront Lian, it quickly sensed his overwhelming power and divine nature, causing it to halt its attack.
Only a god could break down the boundary between life and death. Moreover, only a god capable of creating and nurturing the world could do so. Lian breaking down the boundary was akin to dismantling a part of the completed world.

Lian knew he probably wouldn’t, yet he swung his fist at her head. Imagining the words “Meow! Just an afterimage!” echoing in his mind, he gritted his teeth in annoyance.

His fist… hit her head. Lian looked down at his fist in confusion, startled by the fact that he had actually punched her. The Gag God covered the spot that was hit with teary eyes.
“Anti-violence! Anti-violence!”
She somehow retrieved a wooden board, which she shook while scribbling “anti-violence” on it. Lian blankly alternated between his fist and her.
“What the… huh?”
Before long, it dawned on him. He had reached an equal status with the Gag God, which meant he could actually strike her!
“Aha…”
In that moment, he willingly accepted the fact that he was a god.
‘How long has it been…’
The memories of being toyed with by her cruel pranks came rushing back vividly. Lian clenched his fist and stared at the now-cowering Gag God.
‘It’s time for revenge…’
“Uhh… w-what are you doing? Don’t come near me! Eek! Run… uggh!”
Instinctively using his Divine Power, Lian teleported behind her. Grabbing her swishing tail mercilessly, it puffed up dramatically.
“I’m… going to teach you a lesson, aren’t I?”
As Lian flashed a sinister smile, the Gag God drooped her ears, making a pitiful cat face.
The rage… did not subside!
“Ughh! Kyaaaa!!”
The scream echoed beautifully.

As soon as he regained his senses, he should’ve checked on Ellensia’s condition first, then the status of his other companions.
All the obvious things had been pushed aside, and he had just messed around like in the Gag World.
Lian realized just how terrifying a god’s power was.
“..! Ellensia!”
He turned his gaze sharply towards the now-angelic Ellensia. She stood quietly about five steps away from Lian.
Compared to how she rushed towards him in the black space, her calm demeanor was striking. Did she lose her personality upon becoming an Angel? A hint of worry crept in.
However, seeing the strong emotions shining in her eyes relieved him. Even as an Angel, she was still herself.
“But why…?”
Why wasn’t she coming closer?
Lian’s question was answered by the Gag God, who crawled over, her voice barely above a whisper.
“That’s… cough, because you haven’t given her permission. How could an Angel dare to move freely without the god’s command… ah… cough…”
After saying that, she vomited a gush of blood. With blood on her fingertips, she managed to write “The culprit is… L…” on the white floor before collapsing.
Lian coldly ignored her and walked up to Ellensia. When he gazed into her eyes, he noticed her subtly dropping her gaze.
“Ellensia, look at me.”
“…”
Upon receiving Lian’s approval, she immediately looked up at him. Her eyes swirled with awe and love.
“You don’t need my permission. You can move as you wish, Ellensia.”
With all authority granted… she eagerly embraced Lian, her emotions overflowing, causing her wings to tremble and flutter wide open.
“I opened my eyes… but… Lian wasn’t there…”
This was the Gag God’s domain, so unless she received permission from the Gag God, the Angel couldn’t approach. She had been wandering hopelessly in the celestial realm created by the former God of Dark Fantasy, searching for Lian.
Just as despair was about to settle in the near-ruined place, the Gag God finally summoned her.
“I was so scared… that I might not see you…”
Lian comforted her, holding her tightly.
Once Ellensia calmed down a bit, the Gag God shot up and clenched her fists.
“All right! Now it’s time to start making Heaven! As a god, you must have a temple in Heaven! I need at least five rooms!”
“Why would your room be in my Heaven?”
“What?! You’re abandoning your friend now that you’ve succeeded?! I created gods for you, huh?! And brought the Angel over, huh?!”
Knowing that arguing with the Gag God was pointless, Lian just kept quiet.
‘Gotta position her as far away from my home as possible.’
Since he had to live as the god of this world, he reluctantly threw away the option of expelling her, realizing he would need her expertise.
