**Chapter 25: What Exactly Did I Do Wrong?**
Xiuqi Chi could see the exhaustion on Yuxun Xia’s face at a glance. The thought of this man staying by Yeyun Ye’s side all night last night ignited a strong possessiveness in him. “What am I doing here? Yeyun Ye, that’s a very good question. When you were on the verge of death and called me yesterday, why didn’t you think of this question! Or, was everything from yesterday until now just an act you put on!”
“An act?” Yeyun Ye sneered, her smile laced with unspeakable weakness. “Yes, for this act, I even lost my child. I have nothing left…”
Yeyun Ye’s gaze became vacant. She no longer wanted to argue, leaning her entire body weakly against the hospital bed.
Yuxun Xia could see that Yeyun Ye was in a very bad state, on the verge of a breakdown. Xiuqi Chi’s presence could only worsen her condition. So, he spoke with a cold glare, “Mr. Chi, you have no relationship with Yeyun anymore. We’re tired of saying this, please leave.”
Xiuqi Chi clenched his fists. What did this woman take him for? A plaything she could summon and dismiss at will?
However, the anger he was about to unleash was abruptly suppressed when he thought of the child the woman had just lost. He turned his fury towards Yuxun Xia instead. “Throw this person out. I don’t want to hear his nonsense.”
Before Yuxun Xia could even speak, he was covered by bodyguards, his mouth gagged, and then taken away. The commotion outside was too loud for Yeyun Ye to ignore.
“Don’t involve Yuxun Xia in our matters anymore,” Yeyun Ye said first, staring at Xiuqi Chi’s sharp gaze.

“Dream on! Not just Yuxun Xia, but you too, I won’t let either of you off!” Xiuqi Chi said irritably, throwing Yeyun Ye back onto the hospital bed. “You have to bear the consequences of your own actions!”
What consequences did she have to bear? The accumulation of minor and major emotional burdens over the past few days surged up in an instant with Xiuqi Chi’s words. Yeyun Ye cried out hysterically.
“What exactly did I do wrong! Was it that Jingxian Xiang is my sister, or that I fell in love with you!” “You trampled on my feelings! From beginning to end, you only humiliated me! The fresh scabs, barely formed, were ripped open again, and blood gushed out. “Jingxian Xiang tortures me like this again and again. Do you know this? Do you know?”
Seeing Yeyun Ye’s behavior becoming more and more frantic, Xiuqi Chi grabbed her hand and pulled her into his embrace. “Stop! Yeyun Ye! I told you to stop, do you hear me.”

Xiuqi Chi sat in his car, Yeyun Ye’s appearance still vivid in his mind. The thought of her mouth full of accusations against Jingxian Xiang, yet the Jingxian Xiang she spoke of was completely different from the one he knew! As he waited at a red light, Xiuqi Chi dialed Yuexiang Yang’s number.
“Investigate what contact Yeyun Ye and Jingxian Xiang have had these past few days.” His tone paused slightly here, then he continued, “And all her recent movements.”
At this moment, Jingxian Xiang had no idea that her actions had aroused Xiuqi Chi’s suspicions. She was still on the phone with a marketing account. “I have black material on Gu Xingze’s rumored girlfriend from last time. Find a time to release it. I’ll buy the trending searches. You don’t need to worry about anything else.” Jingxian Xiang hung up after speaking.

The comment section was filled with骂聲 (cursing and insults), and some even cropped Yeyun Ye’s photos from videos to make them look like funeral pictures.
