As Yeon-hee spoke with anticipation, Lizardman 1 puffed out his chest as if finally ready for action.
“Croooow?!”
Then, Dotti, standing next to him, struck a bodybuilding pose, flexing his muscles proudly.
(Where the heck did they learn that nonsense…)
“Crack?”
‘It’s ridiculous that you guys, who don’t even exercise a bit, think you have good bodies… must be a filthy racial trait.’
“But if we go to a damp place, won’t Il-wol’s bomb go out and things like that?”
“Clap-”
“Ah! Did I hit a nerve?”
‘No, it just makes no sense…’
The explosion activates the flame attribute; it’s not actually dependent on magic power to detonate, so it’s irrelevant.
“So we can use bombs like today, huh?”
Nodding vigorously-
“Great, then let’s do the same routine tomorrow.”
‘That’s all good, but we shouldn’t get close to the deep swamp. The chance of stealth being detected is really high. Let’s take it slow and steady.’
“Yup— and just like we saw, the Lizardmen have a very strong sense of teamwork. Apparently, it’s clearly defined by a hierarchy based on strength… When one raises a danger signal, all the surrounding Lizardmen rush over! But isn’t this the same for other monsters as well?”
‘To be precise, it’s not exactly the same. Their range is much wider.’
The moment you kill a Lizardman, it’s akin to triggering a mark like in an Ent forest.
“Yup, that makes sense. The fact that many people are entering places like this indicates there’s something worthwhile, right?”
‘Bingo, Lizardman leather fetches a decent price, so selling the byproducts will be quite lucrative. Though that’s not all there is to it.’
“Lizardman leather… that’s a bit much… Il-wol, how about we dismiss the summoned ones after defeating monsters for cleanup? Got it?”
“Clap, Clap, Clap…”
‘You’re just too soft-hearted.’
In that way, it’s a good thing.
“Lastly… the rune drop rate is higher than in other places. It’s a common trait of dungeons with restrictions.”
Nodding.
“I heard the Rune of Giants mainly drops here… hmm…”
The Rune of Giants increases strength. It’s exactly what I need right now.
If my strength were just 100,000 higher, I could have sliced through the goblin’s neck in the morning with one strike.
“This place requires E-rank Hunters to form a party to enter, so we need to find a team just like last time at the Fire Monkey dungeon.”
‘A tank like Han Man-woo from our old team and sorceress Yu Dal-ri would be fine… Should I contact them first? We shouldn’t be too far behind them.’
Otherwise, we could take the lead in forming a party ourselves. But finding a decent candidate among the applicants isn’t an easy task. Most Hunters tend to be a bit whacky.
Nonetheless, unlike my expectations, Yeon-hee seemed to decide to look for a different team first. I curiously watched the phone screen from behind her.
After about an hour of watching her search, a question popped into my mind.
‘Why does she keep avoiding the team with Yu Dal-ri?’
Author: A Good Day With Yu Dal-ri
Title: Recruiting E-rank Hunters. (D-rank allowed for a try in Lizard Swamp too!)
Content: There’s a bondage wizard here.
Comments (147)
The one-liner introduction attracted 147 comments. That indicates how much value wizards hold among other Hunters.
Yet, despite Yu Dal-ri’s post being at the top, Yeon-hee ignored it, flipping through other recruitment posts.
…What’s up with her?
“Ugh… There’s no suitable place…”
‘……’
Another ten minutes passed…
At this point, I understood that Yeon-hee was hesitant about sorceress Yu Dal-ri, but no matter how much I thought, I couldn’t figure out why.
‘Hmm… What could it be? Ugh! I give up!’
Since this was beyond my involvement, I clenched the Ancient Crystal I received from Yeon-hee and started making bombs.
I filled 54 skeleton bombs made from kobold bones, ready to use them tomorrow. Just thinking about “KABOOM!” made my shoulders bounce with excitement.
*Crack! Crack!*
After spending a long time on bomb craftsmanship, Yeon-hee sighed as if resigned and spoke.
“How about we join this team tomorrow?”
To my surprise, the team she chose was led by Helen (a pseudonym).
‘So she completely avoided Yu Dal-ri. Now I’m even more curious. Is she hesitant because they’re in a similar class? Hmm…’
“Aah… the team called Yu Dal-ri is already closed for recruitment, so we can’t join ~oh, what a bummer.”
“Clap-”
After giving Yeon-hee a quick pat on her head, I looked at the phone screen.
‘Huh? That talkative guy, Hyeon-seok, is out?’
The team members listed were just Helen and Jin-kyeong.
Total recruitment was for 4-5 members, and the desired dungeons ranged from Fire Monkey dungeon to Hobgoblin dungeon. Additionally, it noted that if a D-rank Hunter applied, they could attempt the entrance of Lizard Swamp.
‘But the limit on the entrance is set, indicating some self-awareness regarding their stats.’
Thinking back to how calmly Helen presented her proposal, I found myself nodding in agreement.
‘From a growth standpoint, this might actually be better than teaming with Yu Dal-ri. Working with a wizard would generally mean less contribution on our part. Hmm… not bad at all?’
As I scratched my chin and nodded slightly, Yeon-hee asked me with slightly anxious eyes.
“Um… is it okay?”
‘Huh? What do you mean?’
Tilting my head, I soon gave her a thumbs up. Only then did Yeon-hee light up with a smile and hurriedly moved her hands over the phone.
Brrrr—
No sooner did Yeon-hee send the message than the phone rang.
“Ah… hello…”
Switching back to her outside-world mode, she struggled to continue the call with Helen.
Listening to the contents Helen shared during the call, it went something like this.
Helen seriously debated whether to contact Yeon-hee or not. She thought she would definitely get rejected, so she didn’t reach out. Grateful that she did, she mentioned that Hyeon-seok was still recovering from being attacked by a Spore Snail, so no worries about him being a bother. Also, the settlement ratio would be treated excellently, among other things.
“But… we have conditions other than money…”
– Please, let us know anything!!
Helen’s slightly excited voice echoed through the phone.
“Lizard Swamp… we need to go there, or we’ll have to look for another party.”
– …Have you ever been to Lizard Swamp?
“This is my, my first time…”
– How about the Hobgoblin dungeon? How many times have you been there?
“Once today…”
– ………..
I understood why Helen fell silent. Generally, before entering Lizard Swamp, it’s customary to clear the lower-ranked dungeons at least 5 times.
But this daring girl, known as the first Summoner, seemed to be hasty, trying to skip that process all at once.
Whew—
A soft sigh escaped from the phone, almost audible.
– Or… it might be a bit far, but how about trying out an Orc Stage 1 dungeon? What do you think? Since we’re all girls, it could be fine for us to spend a few days there together?
Orc Stage 1 dungeon.
Since there are so many Orc dungeons, they started categorizing them into stages without specific names from a certain point onwards.
Of the seven stages, Stage 1, being the lowest, is evaluated to be slightly more difficult than the Hobgoblin dungeon.
‘I do need to check that out too; I have to steal skills with [Thievery]. But right now, spending days at such a place doesn’t fit into our schedule.’
Yeon-hee looked at me with wide eyes, and I shrugged. While that was my thought, ultimately the decision was hers. If I kept leading her in my direction, it could diminish her judgment growth.
“Hmm… I don’t think we can do that. So, this is it…”
– Wow! Hahaha! Yeon-hee, you seem a bit impatient! I’m not saying I won’t go, so let’s hear your thoughts…
Five more minutes of Helen’s monologue passed, and in the end, we agreed to go to Lizard Swamp tomorrow.
‘Hunters are generally cautious. It’s better than a reckless style. The problem is the remaining spot…’
– We all must be E-ranks, so we need to fill one more slot. Can I use your name to attract more applicants? My name hasn’t been very effective yet to garner responses.
‘Asking directly if they can use her name is a fresh approach, isn’t it?’
“Um… it’s fine.”
Surprisingly, Yeon-hee agreed coolly. Perhaps she accepted it since she has already gained some fame.
And 20 minutes later, Helen called again, this time with an even more excited voice.
– Wow! Just as I expected! With Yeon-hee’s profile posted, we’re getting comments like crazy! We just need to pick one among them!

‘Insane… it only took 20 minutes for that many responses?’
Refreshing the page still shows 10 new comments pouring in. I was reminded once more of the greatness of the title “The First Summoner.” Of course, many might be interested in the Hunter named Lee Yeon-hee herself.
In a straightforward manner, they might just want to party with her for her pretty face.
Or perhaps it’s merely fulfilling their curiosity regarding the Summoner class.
‘Whatever the case, there are risks involved. I’ll have to bear them.’
“Ugh… there are so many, I can’t choose. What do I do?”
