I woke up one day to find the world completely turned upside down.
The Abyss had become an incredible game, and I had transformed into a new person entirely different from my former self, someone who bore an uncanny resemblance to the character within it.
I can’t even grasp the reason why such a surreal event occurred. Was it just some idle shenanigan by a god that was watching my life, or is all of this just an illusion? Perhaps my original body has long since died, and my brain is merely floating in a glass jar, receiving electric shocks like a mundane movie plot.
I had always been a rather timid and unstable person. I feared the uncertain and felt anxious about everything: my career, job, future, friends, romantic partners, and so on…
Since I couldn’t even trust myself, I had no faith in others and completely avoided forming relationships. In reality, my previous self had no one to contact privately, completely isolated from the world.
That’s why my current life feels so strange and exhilarating.
I’ve taken on the body of Camilla and am born anew in this world, living a life unlike any I’ve known before.
Now, I’m doing broadcasts and forming relationships with the people I’ve met through them—it’s like I’ve done a complete 180 in terms of who I am.
Sure, I’ve changed, but it feels like it’s not just the outside that’s different, but the very core of me.
Lately, I’ve started to think my mind itself has changed; maybe the god has been fiddling with my brain as they pleased. It’s not just about my changed appearance; quite a lot has transformed inside me.
So, if both my appearance and essence have transformed, am I really the same person I was before? And it wasn’t even by my own will…
“Hmm.”
This is a dangerous topic to delve deeper into. Let’s stop here before I end up in some martial arts novel-level crisis.
My past life as a man feels like it belongs to ancient history now. It’s almost like it’s treated as a past life.
Whenever I recall those days, I feel like I’ve become one of those quirky people with memories of a past life.
I don’t know the reason for this new life. I don’t even know why I’ve morphed into the form of Camilla.
Given that this life wasn’t gained through my efforts, it could be whisked away from me at any moment.
It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to wake up and find myself back in my male form again. In fact, I’ve had nightmares that resemble something like that several times.
But I can’t just sit around feeling defeated about it.
Didn’t I once say that even if the Earth were to perish tomorrow, I would still plant an apple tree?
Just like that, I too live each day to the fullest. Even if I wake up tomorrow and my current life disappears, I want to have no regrets.
That’s why I switch on the broadcast today too. The broadcast is one of the elements that proves my existence, part of what makes me, me.

“Guys, you are all such precious people to me.”
[Huh?]
[Didn’t they say this last time too?]
[What did they see this time?]
[Are they really just going to keep pouring out the broth?]
[I’ve never heard this from my mom though, LOL; it’s touching.]
[Isn’t this just flattery? Why the tears?]
[Is something up with the host?]
[Suddenly starting a broadcast in the early morning just to say this…]
[I love the morning vibes, older sister! T_T]
[Feels like watching a girlfriend who’s a bit too lovey-dovey and slightly unstable, not gonna lie…]
[Whoa.]
[Oh….]
[The host isn’t unstable enough to go all Yuri on us though.]
Is this what it feels like to have slightly ticked-off siblings with an age gap?
The expressions might be a bit rough, but I know everyone cares about me.
If I took a few days off without saying a word, they’d be straight away looking for me.
So many people want and need me.
It’s a thankful thing when someone remembers and looks for you.
A person truly dies when they are forgotten by others.
-Did this person drink?
[Definitely smells like alcohol.]
[Info: The host has a habit of dropping wisdom when drunk.]
[Really sounds like a boomer lol.]
[Alcohol Wisdom Machine, whoa! ]
[So you know when people die, huh?]
[What does that even mean, you geek?]
[You’re kind of cute today with all this nonsense.]
“Today’s a shortie; I’ll just chat casually and head out.”
Even for a short time, it’s better to show my face this often.
According to research from a university in the US, it showed that among people who faced each other for 4 hours every two days, chimpanzees found more favor with those they saw daily for 2 hours. It means that frequency is more important than just time.
[So are we saying we’re chimpanzees, teacher?]
[What’s with the habitual criticism? LOL]
[Kaya says: Fans are no different from chimpanzees or apes.]
[For real, there might be more people dumber than chimpanzees out there, LOL…]
[Dismissing chimpanzees? Their IQ is pretty high.]
[Seriously LOL, two-digit IQ folks might be flooding the chat.]
[Last time, watching them give advice in a puzzle game was proof enough.]
It was while chatting with the viewers like this.
-These days, the level of AI drawings is insane!
These days, the level of AI art is mind-blowing!
On the left is a picture drawn by a person, and on the right is a picture drawn by AI, perfectly mimicking the human artwork.
They’ve almost conquered the weakness of not being able to draw hands!
In fact, many experts say that in some areas, the details are even better than human drawings, to the point where it’s hard to tell them apart!
This was a post that had gone up in a cafe. A viewer shared it, and it received a lot of recommendations from the cafe’s users, landing it at the top.
I couldn’t help but let out a soft gasp as I read the content.
“It really is pretty well done.”
[The end of the human era has arrived!]
[Let’s replace everything with AI; those primitive fools are no match for superior machines!]
[We urgently need AI judges!]
[They used to say AI couldn’t replace the arts, but LOL, art got taken over first!]
[For real, I thought simple labor would be replaced the fastest, but this is unexpected.]
[A friend who’s an illustrator has been complaining for days and now they’re studying AI.]
[If only it’s utilized well, it might be better than having nothing!]
The speed of technological advancement is ridiculous.
Even with just smartphones, I know it’s only been about 20 years since they’ve been in common use.
It’s not been long since we entered the information age with the development of mobile phones and the internet, and now we have AI. The singularity is upon us, and it’s getting hard to keep up with the pace of progress.
Even if it’s tough, I’ll have to adapt. If I just stand by and watch evolving technology, I’ll end up doing nothing later.
These days, many restaurants have kiosks instead of having staff take orders. For those not used to electronic devices, that’s already a struggle, and it wouldn’t be surprising if that was my future.
To prevent that, I’ve got to get comfortable with using AI devices.
“Shall we play around with AI? It can create music and art for us, right? If you give it lyrics, it’ll come up with a melody by itself. That’s amazing! Let’s start with art since that’s what we just read about.”
I followed the link the viewer posted and accessed the site.
You can input commands or tags to get corresponding pictures, or you can put in an entirely different picture and it’ll learn that style to generate similar images.
[But this thing tends to generate a lot of lewd stuff.]
[That can probably be set up too, right?]
[What on earth did they teach the AI?]
[Most people are probably picking lewd illustrations, which is why there’s so much data on that!]
[I just wanted pretty illustrations, but they keep coming out kinda risque.]
“The level of explicitness? Well, as long as it doesn’t cause a total broadcast failure, it should be fine. For that kind of content, you just have to add special tags. Let’s give it a try!”
“You have to insert a special tag for that, so let’s give it a spin first.”
For the first one, I simply tried generating an illustration using tags. By throwing in tags like silver hair, blue eyes, white skin, dancer, and so on, I got an illustration similar to Camilla.
“Looks like a cheap knockoff of Camilla drawn in a hurry. But wow, it produced results so quickly. Even with coloring!”
[It’s fast, alright.]
[Those illustrators weren’t complaining for nothing, haha, the quality is impressive.]
[And this is way cheaper too, lol.]
[Once I get the hang of this, it’s definitely better than commissioning others, for real.]
For the second attempt, I tried generating an image based on a different reference.
I input Camilla’s official illustration, and immediately, the AI spat out a similar drawing.
After a few more attempts to test it, a great idea struck me.
“What if I try drawing it myself?”
Even if I sugarcoat my drawing skills, they weren’t great. Even with Camilla’s unique bodily enhancements, it showed. Maybe Camilla herself didn’t have great artistic talent either, as her drawing skills were as disastrous as ever, despite her transformed body.
“Wow…”
“I didn’t know the Teacher had some weaknesses.”
“Is that a ghost?”
“With the hair and eye color, it’s definitely Camilla, haha.”
“That’s some surrealist art, whoa.”
“This is modern art!”
“It’s kind of scary once you look at it longer.”
In just 10 minutes, I completed my masterpiece. Title: “Smiling Camilla.”
Would the AI learn from even poorly drawn pictures to create something similar? I was curious about that.
“I’ll give this a try too.”
I uploaded my masterpiece, and just like before, the AI started spinning and loading.
With some anticipation, I waited for about 3 minutes.
– Error! Unable to generate the drawing smoothly! Learning failed, retry?
The system’s translation message was basically saying, “You messed up.”
After that, I hit the retry button beside me and waited another 2 minutes, but again, no drawing appeared—just the same failure message.
“What the heck, it’s not working?”
[How bad was the drawing if it couldn’t even process it…?]
[Is this an unlearnable art style?]
[The broadcast host has even defeated AI, lol.]
[How dare a primitive machine challenge humans?]
[Kayak’s drawing is so unique that even AI can’t replicate it.]
[Kayak, the Picasso of 21st century Korea!]
Afterward, I tried drawing again and attempted a few more times, but strangely enough, the AI just couldn’t recognize my drawings properly.
