Despite Nixon’s rough insults, he was quite right.
The game already seemed to be doomed. My few blunders, combined with my teammates’ mistakes, had turned into a giant snowball rolling downhill.
Still, Nixon’s attitude made me feel uneasy.
There really were hardly any players like that before.
