Chapter 130

At last, Joo-ha was born.

Despite not being fond of the somewhat cliché saying that just her existence is a gift, I felt the need to say it this time.

Joo-ha’s existence truly is a gift to us.

In reality, my older sister could have easily been worn out after childbirth, but she said she felt energized every time she saw her smiling daughter, so she didn’t spend much time in postpartum care and quickly left the maternity ward.

Typically, even if it’s short, people usually stay for around two weeks, but she left in less than a week, leading to a lot of worried comments from those around us.

I felt the same way and asked if it wouldn’t be better to stay a bit longer, but my sister wanted to enjoy this moment with our little family of three as much as possible.

And contrary to my worries, my sister couldn’t stop smiling while taking care of Joo-ha once she returned home.

“Honey, isn’t it time for your broadcast soon? Can I stay here?”

As usual, I approached my wife, who was sitting on the living room sofa, playing with Joo-ha, and she tilted her head while pointing to the clock.

Although it was nearly 7 o’clock, as my wife said, seeing our princess giggling in my arms made it hard to leave.

“That’s true… but can’t I just play with Joo-ha for a little longer before going in?”

“Tsk! You can’t do that. The viewers are waiting.”

“Tch…”

How ruthless. Dad just wants to play a little longer with his daughter.

With disappointment, I turned my body, only to hear a small chuckle from behind.

“Do you really want to play with Joo-ha that much? You can play with her tomorrow too.”

“But if I go live today, that’s it. By the time I’m done, Joo-ha will be sound asleep.”

“That’s true.”

Of course, Joo-ha, being a newborn, cries a lot, waking up frequently in the early hours, but soothing her at those times is quite different from actually playing with her.

In fact, I barely got to be with Joo-ha today because I had to stop by work.

“Hehe, then can you just bring her in for a little while to play?”

“You mean, bring her in and show her on the broadcast?”

“Yeah, we greeted everyone together when she was first born, right? Isn’t that fine?”

Well, that’s true… but it feels a bit weird to be using my daughter for a broadcast.

“Of course, I understand that it’s your thought, but these days, viewers have been asking to see Joo-ha a lot, right? I don’t think it’s a bad thing.”

“That’s true.”

I guess I’m easily swayed. Whenever I make a decision, and then hear my wife’s persuasion, I end up thinking it makes sense.

No, maybe it’s not that I’m easily swayed; I’m just particularly weak against my wife.

“Okay, then shall we just go live for a bit while playing and then come back?”

“That sounds good. I’ll be watching the broadcast too, so don’t worry.”

At this point, it felt almost like a CCTV setup.

“Our husband exclusive CCTV!”

Seeing my wife reply cutely, I smiled happily and took Joo-ha, who was wrapped in a shawl.

I cautiously walked to my workspace, hit the broadcast start button on the already running computer, and changed the waiting screen from camera to fan art to surprise the viewers.

“【Kokkiyaho】- Koha”

“【Lego Swallowed Pigeon】- Koha Koha”

“【Allfreed】- LOL”

“【Glasses with a Lock】- Didn’t you turn on the camera yet? Ugh…”

Just as expected, one by one, viewers started to join, greeting as usual, but soon enough, complaints about the camera not being on began to rise.

But seriously, why do all these guys want to see me turn on the camera so badly? Is the female viewer ratio in our room unexpectedly high? I thought it wasn’t that many last time I checked.

“Okay, everyone. Stay calm. Today, we have a surprise guest. I turned off the camera to hide this person for a moment.”

“【Whirlwind Flower 2】- Oh”

“【Lucid Dream 7】- Is it not a guest?”

“【Bloomed Flower】- Did he really bring a guest?”

“【Seo-ha Moon】- Isn’t Seo-ha in the house?”

“【BlueBungieWooRuh】- Your connections are crashing, aren’t they?”

“Hey, you all are so harsh. What’s wrong with my connections? I only need one close friend like Mr. Park Gun-ho!”

Of course, now that I’ve been streaming for a while, I have more than just Mr. Park, but in reality, he’s the only one I know well enough to hang out with.

Meeting a female streamer can be too risky, and strangely, I have almost no connections with male streamers.

I mean, maybe a few people I occasionally play games with? That’s pretty much it.

But with Mr. Park Gun-ho, I’ve got solid support. His existence alone explains everything.

“Do you dare to disrespect the Cheese King? Excuse me?”

“【Lemon Tanghulu】- LOL that’s true”

“【Astral Chronicles】- The youngest son-in-law of Changseong Group lacking connections is weird…”

“【Arisa Loves It】- Just show us already; I’m getting dizzy.”

“【Soju Flavored Hand Cream】- But doesn’t the Cheese King host the stream?”

“Ahem! Let’s move on from that.”

After all, since my wife is practically the largest shareholder of Aiver, people started joking about me being the Cheese King after we got married.

But that was so burdensome that I secretly tried to pass it on to Mr. Park, but I failed at that public relations attempt. Too bad.

“Anyway, the ultra-luxury guest I brought today is… Everyone, don’t be surprised!”

“【Seafood Sauce】- Who are we talking about?”

“【Potato Ring】- Seriously, stop roasting me!”

“【TWS2425】- Is it not the father-in-law?”

“【Great Target】- LOL, it truly is a luxury guest.”

Crazy people, do you really think I’d bring my father-in-law on stream? Do you want to score points against me?

Click.

Ignoring their nonsense, I clicked the camera ON button with my mouse, and the fan art background disappeared to reveal the view of my room.

And finally, the scene that unfolded was a two-shot of me and Joo-ha.

“Okay, Joo-ha, say hi! Hello.”

“Puah…!”

I held Joo-ha’s hand and shook it, asking for a greeting that she couldn’t possibly do, but surprisingly, our daughter was enthusiastic in her babbling as if she were doing fan service.

“【That’s it, Cosmo…】- Wow”

“【Neighbor Living Hana】- So cute! Hahaha”

“【White Forest】- Wow!”

“【Red White Black】- Joo-ha!”

“【Blue Rage Game】- Joo-ha is here!”

The chat began to shoot up rapidly as viewers started cheering for Joo-ha. They probably didn’t expect me to bring her on.

“Alright, everyone, how is it? You recognize this ultra-luxury guest, right?”

“【Mushroom Soup】- Indeed, LOL”

“【Bera666】- Who slandered the host? Ugh…”

“【Holic Sh*t】- Joo-ha is indeed an ultra-luxury guest! Hahaha”

“【Lost Frog】- I believed in you!”

I smiled contently as I watched the chat transform into a lively party.

You guys should not be careless before seeing the truth. I brought our princess, and the only thing you can say is bafflement? Please.

“【‘Joo-ha Love Club’ has donated 500,000 KRW】”

– Please bring Joo-ha occasionally; she’s so cute. Here’s for the formula milk.

“Wow, thank you for the 500,000 won donation. To be honest, I wanted to show her to you all too, but last time I brought Joo-ha, the donations went wild, and it became a concern.”

“【Moscos】- ?”

“【Cro-Magnon】- What does that mean?”

“【Just Woke Up from Eating】- Isn’t it good when donations go wild? I seriously don’t get it.”

Oh snap, did I speak too carelessly?

I think I need to explain, so I cleared my throat and spoke up again.

“What should I say? It felt a bit weird to utilize my daughter for making money.”

“【Adios Dao】- Ah, okay.”

“【Catfish With Salmon】- I think I get what you’re saying.”

“【JeobiChuriSal】- Aren’t you thinking too deeply about this?”

“【I’m Telling The Teacher】- But since you’re the host, I’d understand it if other streamers did that and just kept bringing her for donations every day. Hahaha.”

I never really thought it that way. There are indeed streamers who frequently feature their children on their streams, and I never thought negatively about it.

It’s just the feeling I had that day, which made me hesitate to bring her back again. Maybe like one viewer said, I might have overthought it.

“Well, the more I think about it, it feels like silly concern. It means you all care about our daughter and think she’s cute, so why would I think negatively about it?”

“【1st Cosmo Must Protect】- That’s right!”

“【1st Cosmo Must Protect】- Joo-ha has a great appetite!”

“【K-HipHopTopCosmo】- Oh, that’s great news!”

“【Arisa Loves It】- You need to eat a lot when you’re little to grow up healthy!”

“【White Forest】- Is she drinking breast milk? Formula?”

“I’m still breastfeeding. These days, many people switch to formula quickly, but I want to at least stick with breast milk for 4 to 5 months.”

Thanks to that, my sister is extremely busy. Every moment, our princess cries, asking for milk, making it hard for her to get anything done.

“I had no idea babies had such good appetites. They cry for food almost every hour!”

“【Lemon Tanghulu】- They really eat often, huh?”

“【Allfreed】- Your wife must be struggling.”

“【Seo-ha Moon】- After a bit of time, the eating intervals get longer. Things get easier then.”

Oh, it seems like someone here has experience raising kids. There’s definitely a vibe that shows it.

While continuing a peaceful conversation.

“【1st Cosmo Must Protect】- Speaking of which,

“【1st Cosmo Must Protect】- Joo-ha eats so often that Uju once said he wanted to try it too!”

“…Honey?”

Suddenly, my wife brought up a joke I had made earlier.

“【Neighbor Living Hana】- Huh?”

“【Astral Chronicles】- Wow, that’s a bit…”

“【Glasses with a Lock】- I can’t defend you on this one.”

“【Moscos】- Hey, KoCos!”

“【Seafood Sauce】- So are you stealing the baby’s food?”

In that moment, the peaceful chat turned into a fiery battlefield as voices of criticism against me surged.

Is this for real?
