Chapter 52

The fact is, even though I became a martial artist, I’ve been haunted by nightmares for a while.

“Ah.”

This dream is downright troubling.

The people I killed—Chang Sam, Oh Su-man, not to mention Do Samcheol who died while catching Goblin, and Yeon Mipyeong, the owner of the Assassin’s Room, they all crawled out like it’s a family reunion, not to mention Madunachal and the Goblin chief.

It feels like all the scumbags in the world are coming out in my dreams.

“Damn it!”

Maybe it’s because my sleep is rough; my physical potential isn’t coming out as it should. I’ve been diligently training my martial arts and inner energy, but it still feels like I have no strength in my body.

I guess my mental strength has been depleted from the consecutive murders.

What the hell are Conan and Kim Jeon-il doing?

How can they be so cheerful while witnessing death every day?

Oh, thinking about it, those guys just see dead bodies, they’re not the ones actually killing. So maybe they’re fine. I mean, if Conan and Kim Jeon-il were to start murdering people, we’d be in a full-on hack and slash world.

Anyway.

Even though I’ve been suffering from nightmares since I cleaned up the Assassin’s Room, it hasn’t affected my livelihood.

I’ve been out hunting demons with Jaemi Son, filling my pockets. My skills honed by murder. The experience of taking down Madunachal. Plus my martial arts training from the Namgoong Clan. All of that synergized to boost my abilities, making it easier to take down those demons.

I’m no longer the dude who was struggling with Soseongui.

“But where’s Yodan? Isn’t he coming back?”

We’ve taken down various demons, but Yodan hasn’t reappeared. I guess that last two runs were just pure luck.

“Heh heh. Do you think he’d show up so easily?”

“True. Hey, let’s grab a drink.”

“Sounds good…”

Even though it was a bit early, I shared a drink with Jaemi Son.

“Hey, see you next time.”

“Good work…”

After having a decent drink, I returned to my lodging.

For us, overdrinking isn’t an option. Now that I’ve truly become a martial artist, being completely wasted is just like revealing a weakness. I have to be ready to fight at any moment.

Well, I arrived at my new lodgings.

It’s a bit pricier here, 10 coins more than other places for a night, but the room has a bed and is slightly larger, making it more comfortable. Since I’m making enough now, I have to pay attention to my sleeping arrangements. It’s better for recovering my stamina.

Let’s see.

Should I take a rest on my satisfactory bed?

– Creak.

The moment I opened the door.

“Oh, you’re back? How long do you plan to keep me waiting?”

A woman greeted me.

Sitting on my bed.

“Ah, sorry. I was having a drink with a friend.”

“Who’s your friend?”

“Erm… that guy over there.”

“Who is ‘that guy’? Just tell me!”

“Uh, why?”

“Tell me who it is.”

“Um, it’s just… a guy named Funny Hand.”

“Hmm, interesting name?”

The girl was a stunning beauty, no doubt about it.

She had traditional pink hair. In martial arts terms, she had pink hair styled in twin tails, yet with her bangs cut straight, making her look really cute.

But she was a bit short.

Should I say tiny?

But that wasn’t the issue.

The woman’s chest—

It was, frankly, way too big.

“…”

Comparing it to Serin’s tall model-like figure, hers was even larger. Every time I saw Serin, I wondered what that big head was doing there, but now it seemed insignificant. If Serin had a big head, this woman had a chest bigger than a head.

Of course, it wasn’t just a grotesque body with a big chest. She had an hourglass figure, with solid hips and slightly chubby thighs against slender calves.

Her chest was just a bit too big, her height modest, but her body was perfect.

But what captivated me was something else.

It was her outfit, which was extremely revealing. It was similar to the suggestive exposure Serin had, but the key difference was the severe exposure of her upper chest.

With such an enormous chest exposed, I thought a little sweat might create a spring from that overwhelming cleavage.

But really—

Is it possible to have such a body and size? It’s unprecedented. I was completely captivated by her absurdly large chest.

“But who are you?”

My room got a bit cozy, but I hadn’t invited a woman in! Or could this be some inn service? That can’t be right! The woman before me certainly doesn’t look like that!

No matter how I look at it, she’s a gorgeous beauty!

“Now you ask?”

“I was so surprised that my brain didn’t work for a moment.”

“Not that I noticed; you were very busy staring at my chest.”

“No, it’s just…!”

“You’re not into women, so why would you be so concerned? Does it bother you?”

“Not into, hey!”

How did I end up being accused of that again?

“I mean, my chest is like Mount Tai, isn’t it? Heh.”

The woman giggled.

As she trailed her fingers over her lips, due to her larger size, even a simple arm movement caused her body to wiggle.

But she seemed completely unfazed by it…!

“No, why are you saying something so absurd? I just stared because you’re too beautiful and I was mesmerized.”

“Ah, I know I’m beautiful. Naturally, I’m first rate, right?”

Nodding as if she agreed with herself.

“No!”

“But seriously, who are you? How did you get into my room? Are you targeting me?!”

“Shush, keep it down. I’m Wi Hayoung from the Mosan Sect.”

Mosan Sect?

“Mosan Sect? Oh! Isn’t that the place with the charm-using sorcerers?”

“Exactly. But…”

Wi Hayoung tilted her head, oddly curious.

“Don’t you think of anything when you hear the name Wi Hayoung?”

“Wi Hayoung…?”

For our friendship!

“Nothing.”

“Huh? You don’t know Wi Hayoung?”

Wi Hayoung’s expression twisted.

“Do you seriously not know?”

“I mean, I’ve only just met you today!”

She’s an incredibly beautiful woman with an outrageous level of exposure.

Isn’t it odd that someone like her isn’t a master?

At first, I was confused and spoke without thinking, but it’s probably better to be careful from now on.

“I mean, it’s my first time meeting you, but should you be asking if I recognize Wi Hayoung? That’s what I’m asking!”

“None at all!”

“Damn. You seriously don’t know the martial arts history of the Fiery Lotus? Are you a Central Plains person?”

Sharp insight.

“Martial Arts History!!!”

So it really was the Martial Arts History!

She’s stunning!

“Right. Finally getting it.”

Crossing her arms, Wi Hayoung nodded in satisfaction.

“I didn’t expect that the Fiery Lotus Wi Hayoung would be this…!”

“Now that you’ve finally acknowledged it, fine. Anyway, you’re Kim Geunhyeop, the Yodan constitution, right? You look more put together than I expected.”

“Uh, right.”

How did she know?

“How…?”

“Uh…?”

“I heard it from Seonui?”

“What?!”

Damn!

Could it be that she sold my information?!

That bastard Seonui!

I had a bad feeling about him from the start!

There’s no way a guy who sparkles his eyes at the thought of watching Yodan being eaten is normal!

“Ha ha ha! Why are you making that shocking face? You’re not suggesting that Seonui sold your information, are you? Relax! That’s not it!”

Wi Hayoung shot up, laughing boisterously and patted my back.

“Ah… so, Wi Hayoung, what’s this all about?”

“Relax! We’re going together now!”

“Excuse me?”

We’re going together?!

“Are you trying to kidnap me?!”

“What do you mean kidnap? You seem a bit odd. Heh.”

“I’m confused, alright! Just confused!”

“You’re also dropping the formalities quickly.”

That’s my strong suit.

“Anyway, let’s quiet down. You’ve heard I’m a sorceress from the Mosan Sect, right? So what do you think? Of course, I came to study your constitution! Isn’t it obvious?”

“Was that what it was?!”

If only she had spoken up.

“But does the Mosan Sect also study Yodan?”

“Wouldn’t they?”

From what I know, the Mosan Sect is a group of sorcerers who use magic and charms. Do they really conduct studies on demons or Yodan?

“Let’s head out. Come with me, quickly.”

Wi Hayoung, saying it was the most obvious thing in the world, grabbed my hand, pulling me toward the exit of the inn.

“Wait! This is a bit sudden. I’ve got things to do.”

“Ah, I’ll lend you some coins. Do you think I’d let you leave without anything as a sorceress?”

“You’re giving me coins?”

“Isn’t there a snack around here?”

“Oooh! Thanks!”

Wi Hayoung pulled out some candy from her pocket. I popped it in my mouth and immediately, the sweet flavor burst in my mouth. Maybe it’s because I ate something sweet? My mood instantly lifted.

“It’s delicious!”

“Told you! I’ll give you more, so are you coming with me?”

“Of course! Oh, but Hayoung, can I message my friend first?”

“That guy? The one with the weird name?”

“Yeah, him.”

“Go hurry up. I’ll be waiting. If you’re late, you’ll be in trouble.”

She waved cheerily with a smile as she said this.

We exchanged greetings and immediately left the inn.

“Craziness.”

What on earth just happened?

I managed to escape while adjusting to the situation, but I have no idea how to get out of this one.

The Mosan Sect is coming to study my constitution?

That being said, I have no clue about their methods. Are they planning some kind of biological experiment? If so, I’d be a dead man.

Besides, wasn’t she talking about the Fiery Lotus in the Martial Arts History?

If a Mosan Sect sorceress with that level of influence is trying to drag me off, there’s no way I can resist. What do I do? Should I run away? If it’s just simple research like Wi Hayoung said, it might be fine, but given that I know nothing, I can only tread carefully.

But seriously, what’s up with her chest?

How can it be that huge?

And she’s exposing it so boldly.

It’s absurd…!

How can those white curves have blue veins!?
