Chapter 93: The Hero Reappears (Part 1)
“Clang!”
The golden arrow clashed violently with the pitch-black giant sword, producing a piercing sound.
“Tsk.”
Elrose gritted her teeth; the sheer power was the strongest she had witnessed since transforming into a human, and it was the first time she felt the threat of death.
“Ah!”
Elrose shouted loudly and suddenly dodged to the side, the golden arrow grazing the blade of Apophis with a whoosh.
But in the next moment, the arrow seemed to possess a will of its own, turning sharply and flying back towards Elrose.
This was one of the inherent attributes of the Sacred Bow Arrow: a guaranteed hit.
Ignoring all attempts to evade, the Sacred Bow Arrow would not stop until it struck its target.
“Damn it.”
Elrose’s face changed dramatically, and she immediately soared into the dark night sky.
The Sacred Bow Arrow followed closely behind.
“You’re such a pain!”
Finally, Elrose reached a safe height that wouldn’t affect the town, dark mana enveloping her body, highlighting Apophis’s brilliance.
“Perish for me!”
Elrose shouted, unleashing a beam of pitch-black light that met the Sacred Bow Arrow in a fierce collision.
In an instant, lightning flashed, and a terrifying explosion illuminated the entire sky.
As the smoke cleared, the golden arrow had vanished, and Elrose floated gently in the air, exhaling in relief.
“Phew, thankfully my great sword is powerful.”
But in the next moment, an intense feeling of foreboding surged from the depths of her heart.
Elrose suddenly turned around.
What she saw was a torrential rain of golden arrows, as dense as a meteor shower.
Elrose’s small hand holding Apophis trembled slightly, and a pale expression appeared on her face.
“Oh dear.”
Time rewound a few minutes ago,
Karashok, Heavenly Tavern.
Soft lighting, pink walls, and a deep red large bed.
In this soundproof room, Alicia observed several extremely alluring women beside her, falling into deep thought.
She initially just wanted a place to hide, but unexpectedly stumbled into an establishment of ill repute.
“Hey there, handsome, where are you from? How are you so striking?” A long-legged sister with golden wavy hair charmingly stroked Alicia’s fair face.
“Exactly.” The petite loli nearby nodded in agreement: “Look at your skin, those eyes, those eyelashes, my goodness, it’s so enviable.”
Alicia’s face darkened: “Um, ladies, I’m a serious person, just here to lodge, no other intentions.”
“Oh my, everyone says that.” The black-haired mature woman laughed gently: “Looks like you’re here for the first time, little brother, don’t worry, the sisters will take care of you.”
“Yes, yes, relax.” The black-haired bunny girl leaned on Alicia’s shoulder, whispering softly: “Little brother, you’re so handsome, we won’t rip you off; we’ll give you the lowest price for everything, guaranteed worth it.”
Suddenly standing up: “I just took a wrong turn; I’m leaving now.”
Saying that, Alicia turned and left the room without looking back, reaching the door and pulling back the hotel curtain.
“Hentai!”
“Shinei!”
Accompanied by a cold yet enchanting voice, the first thing that came into view was Shadie in her black hair and robe.
“Damn.”
Feeling guilty, Alicia shrank back as if she encountered a natural enemy, quickly rolling back into the establishment, fearing Shadie would see her.
“Yo, yo, yo, why are you back again, didn’t you say you went to the wrong place?”
“Right, aren’t you a serious person? How come you’re back here?”
“Oh my, let’s not tease him, this little brother may be a newbie, it’s normal to be a bit anxious and hesitant.”
“Heehee, that’s true, don’t be afraid little brother, once it’s fun, there’s nothing to be scared of.”
“…”
Alicia’s face was dark, caught in a dilemma.
If she went out, Shadie was out there wreaking havoc; if she stayed in, these sisters would pull down her pants to find she was a girl without a male appendage. She might just be taken by the bartender for tea.
Alicia stomped her foot in anxiety, enduring the sweet nothings from the beautiful ladies beside her while desperately praying in her heart: “Shadie, please leave, please leave, the one stealing your panties isn’t here.”
But suddenly,
Boom!
Even though the soundproofing in Alicia’s room was superb, the thunderous roar was still clearly heard.
“Um? Was that thunder? Such a loud sound.”
“Eh? Strange, I remember the weather was fine tonight, why did it suddenly thunder?”
“Oh dear, it’s spring; sudden weather changes are normal.”
But it wasn’t long after.
“Boom!”
A massive explosion sounded from above, the tremendous shockwave even causing the underground room to shake violently.
“What is happening?”
The leading sister abruptly stood up, quickly calling the other sisters and guests to evacuate, but just then, she suddenly noticed that the handsome gentleman had vanished.
Alicia hid in the dark alley beside the tavern, staring incredulously at the scene before her.
A golden silhouette, a graceful figure, that exquisite person stood in the ruined street, looking extraordinarily radiant.
Elweiss, what is she doing here?
Alicia’s eyes widened; as a guardian of the human realm for over three hundred years, she naturally recognized the Light Saintess of the Sacred Domain.
To be precise, she not only recognized her but was also familiar with her parents, grandparents, and generations before them; Alicia knew them all.
Elweiss had grown up under her care; when she was little, Alicia had even held her once.
She seemed to particularly enjoy the times spent with Alicia when her parents were away.
Light, it was during the times she spent with Alicia that she particularly liked to follow her around, calling her “My Lord Hero.”
But she never expected that after a few years of absence, Elweiss had grown so big, and her power had also experienced a leap in growth, able to use the projection feature of the Saint Lanya Barrier.
What surprised her even more were the words she said.
“The bug of the world must be fixed.”
The girl’s voice, like a time bomb, instantly ignited the hatred buried deep within Alicia’s heart.
Alicia clenched her fists, the fierce light in her eyes flickering.
Right, she was almost forgetting.
The system was given to her by the Sacred Domain.
“Serial Number, NO.999, Name: Unknown World Error, Disaster Level upgraded to maximum level, World-Ender.”
“Sacred Weapon, activate!”
As Elweiss commanded, golden arrows shot through the air, targeting Shadie directly.
Shadie blocked one arrow, but following closely were hundreds of arrows.
“Boom!”
Like the explosion of a World-Ender Bomb, the entire sky was dyed gold.
A small figure plummeted from the sky and crashed heavily to the ground.
Elrose lost.
She had once again lost to that legendary artifact that seemed like a cheat.
Elweiss slowly approached, looking coldly at Elrose:
“Damn monster, now, pay the price for your sins.”
