Early in the morning, Wen Yang arrived at the school gate.
He looked down to check his appearance, using the front camera of his phone to inspect his hairstyle, terrified that something might be off.
A sedan came driving from the end of the road.
He glanced at the license plate and immediately straightened up, showing his most spirited side.
The car stopped in front of Wen Yang, and Ning Chu got out from the passenger seat, stretching lazily: “Mom~ I’m off to class now?”
“After coming all this way, you didn’t think to show me around your school?”
“Have Hei Dou show you around? I still have class.”

As the sedan started, Hei Dou kept her eyes on Ning Chu until her figure vanished from view.
She pouted, head drooping, her once-perky ears drooping too, and her tail ceased to wag.
“Take a nap; there’ll be steak when we get home.”
“Steak!”
Hei Dou perked up immediately.
“I only know how to eat,” her mother shook her head helplessly but with a smile, “I just wonder which brat will come and take you away in the future~”
“I’m just gonna stay home, I won’t go anywhere!”

Watching her mother drive away, Ning Chu finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Finally sent her mom off, and she wouldn’t have to take care of Hei Dou.
With satisfaction, she straightened up and pulled out a sachet from her pocket, handing it to Wen Yang: “Hey, I secretly collected a bunch of tail hairs yesterday, it’s all in here.”

Ning Chu rolled her eyes at him and, seeing that his foolish face hadn’t darkened yet, felt a bit more at ease.
It seemed only relationship problems could make Zhang Shaoqing turn villainous.
Zhang Shaoqing got back in the car and called them: “Get in, I’ll drive you both to class.”
“You guys don’t know, in the past couple of days, I’ve gone on a few blind dates with some girls.”
“Not even a cat girl among them! Damn!”
Ning Chu initially thought of replacing Hei Dou with a cat girl for Zhang Shaoqing, but this guy was so impatient, he wouldn’t even wait a day and missed his chance.
Considering Hei Dou’s appearance at around ten years old… Zhang Shaoqing really might go too far!

“Hey, by the way, did you guys finish the group project last night?”
